I rolled over, the blankets coming with me, to figure out why the hell my phone was ringing so early in the morning. I picked up my phone squinting at the bright screen to see Jacksons name lighting up my screen, also seeing that it was six in the morning. Jackson, what the hell? Why are you calling me so damn early? I questioned him, trying to rid my voice of sleep. Mm sexy voice Cassie, ha! Just kidding I called you cause you were supposed to come pick me up for work. His over joyous voice sounded through the piece of technology, how is someone so energetic this early in the morning? I'll never know with him. Oh, today's Friday, isn't it? I had totally forgot he works so early on Fridays. I just want sleep, that's too much to ask for though. Mhm, indeed it is, I'm glad you remembered. He said, sarcasm dripping through his words. Yknow for a little shy guy, you sure do have sass, Jackson. I chuckled, climbing out of my warm bed. Yeah, well being friends with your dumbass, I'm required to be sassy. He snapped playfully but with a hint of complete seriousness. I was quiet, trying to find my T-shirt that was laying around the room somewhere, Jackson took my silence as me being insulted and simply said, What's the matter Cassie? Cat got your tongue? I could feel his smirk through the dammed phone. Ha. Ha. Very funny Jackie, I was looking for my shirt so I can come pick your ass up, damn near 18 years old and you don't know how to drive, loser. I teased him, he began to giggle at me through the line. You never took time to help me learn. He fired back. They have classes for that, Jackson.. I sighed. Yeah maybe so, Cas, but I want you to teach me. I found this really great online course that I just need someone to teach me and I log in my hours...if I were to sign up would you teach me...please Cas? I could sense his puppy dog eyes even over the phone. I don't know jack, I really don't see why you can't just go to an actual class with an actual teacher, we'll talk about this later. Are you ready because I'm walking out the door right now. I said, quickly changing the subject back to the original one. Yeah, I'm on the porch. He whispered, sounding upset all of a sudden. I sighed, hung up the phone and climbed into my car and made my way to Jackson's house.

After dropping Jackson off at his workplace, I decided to go and get something to eat, seeing as I wasn't going back to bed anytime soon, i drove over to my workplace to pick up my check then i made my way to a small cafe to get some coffee to start this early day. I walked into the cafe, slipping my phone into my pocket as i walked to the ordering counter. I looked up at the menu and that's when i heard his voice. Hey, what can i get you to- Cas? He gasped as he realized it was me. Yeah...hey... My voice came out in a way that seemed to have him rendered speechless. U-uhm what can..can i get you? He stuttered through the question. I chuckled, telling him my order and then walked over to a small table in the back of the store. And here's your drink. Astrid's voice sounded from in front of me. I noticed he didn't have his apron on anymore, meaning he was probably ending his shift. Thanks... I paused. Are you done with your shift, you can join me if you want. I continued. Oh. Uh-uhm, yeah i-i'm done, but i probably shouldn't, you, you look like you want to be alone anyway. He stammered, nervously playing with his hands. Honestly he looked adorable while doing so. I'm not ashamed to admit this. Nah, come sit with me, wanna talk to you. I told him already sitting down, knowing he'd follow. You know... he trailed off. So, I cut him off, how's school going, we've not talked in a while, so fill me in. I said flashing a smile. He looked at me and then down at his hands, which he was still nervously folding and unfolding them, not knowing where to place them. Yeah, he whispered, we haven't talked in a while. I'm sorry about that...I've just, uh, I don't know... he stopped speaking and just looked at me. I raised an eyebrow at him, chuckling a bit before I spoke again, Hey, you okay Astrid, you seem, I don't know, nervous? His eyes widened a bit as we sat there simply looking at each other. A few moments later and several sips of my warm coffee, five words came tumbling out of his mouth, I have a boyfriend now! He spoke quickly, slapping a hand over his mouth after the words made way off his tongue. I sat there, looking at him with wide eyes. I was shocked. Woah, oh, uhm, okay? I tried not to make that sound uncertain but I could tell it sounded extremely uncertain. That's, uhm that's why I haven't really talked to you much lately, I don't think we should be talking to each other, I uhm I really like him Cas. He stuttered out. Why aren't we allowed to talk though? Is he not letting you, because last time I checked we were friends and only friends. I spoke, the words coming out with a bitter edge to them. I wasn't okay with this. No I made this decision on my own, he doesn't even know who you are, wow sorry that sounded bad, but no he's not telling me I can't talk to you, I have made this decision on my own. He told me softly, timidly. Okay...well I'm sure you can see where I stand with this Astrid, you know my mindset about you and you've made yours clear. I'll be on my way now. And with that, I walked out of the coffee shop, oh look at that. Didn't even get to tell him what I originally had wanted to.

I walked into my home, kicking off my shoes and walked into the living room only to see a Jackson on the couch. How'd you get here? I asked him sitting next to him. I know where you keep the key and my brothers friend dropped me off after my shift. Jackson told me. Okay, you said we'd talk about this later and it's later, so. If I sign up and pay the fee will you teach me how to drive Cassie please? Jackson was now looking at me with huge green eyes. I sighed, I don't know Jackie, can I at least get through this awful day before you start with this again. He frowned, What happened Cas? He shifted so he was now sitting cross-legged on the couch staring at me. Well, I went to the little cafe that Astrid works at because I was finally going to tell him... I began, with a sigh, the story of what happened at the cafe.

Okay wow I suck. I'm sorry. But look a chapter. It probably sucks, but ooh I'm bad at cliffhangers and there's also a bit of drama and it's only the 4th chapter whaaaaa.

Okay. Hope you enjoy. Don't forget to
