Brennen's P.O.V.

So, Ariel apparently made no progress yesterday.

Or so she thinks.

Loren, Weston, Mario, Nick, Ari and I were all in a group chat yesterday. Loren explained to us her deal with Zach that was made on their way into the ice cream shop. I like it, but at the same time I feel bad for Ariel during the time being.

It'll be worth it, though, to see the look on her face when he finally remembers her the same way he did before the crash.

In the group chat, Mario claims that Ariel texted him this morning saying Zach likes Ari, her best friend. I've never even seen them speak to each other, but okay then.

I can't help but feel like it was his own fault, but I can't tell anyone that, because they'll think I'm just being a hoe, other than Nick. He knows that none of this would've happened if he didn't freak out over the fans shipping Ariel and himself, especially when he ships it too. Nick should know, he's known him the longest of all of us.

He told Nick and I both that he liked Ariel and didn't know if she felt the same. If only he would've told her that, instead of blowing up because the fans beat him to his own relationship that he didn't see coming. I don't think any of us saw that coming, though. You'd think he'd use that as the perfect opportunity to get with Ariel. Now Mario's trying to hop on that.

Ariel obviously liked Zach too, and it wasn't that hard to tell for anyone other than himself. He thought she was just being friendly. I don't know if any of my friends could stand to be around me as long as they were around each other.

You can tell Mario likes Ariel. I mean, he is kind of being a try-hard. He texts her all the time and right after they got in the fight, he posted his perks of being single video. That can't have absolutely nothing to do with Zariel, I mean come on.

All I've got to say is, the fans would never support it.

But, today is about Zach and I and trying to get his memory back, not Mario. Mario can try to get Ariel by himself, no matter how much it won't work.

I remember that party him and I went to like it was yesterday. Too bad he doesn't.

Looks like I'll just have to wait until he gets here and see if I can get anything accomplished.

*time skip to when Zach gets to Brennen's place and they get in the car*

"So," I started, trying to pull out a conversation. "Hear you're remembering a bit?"

He perked up. "Yeah, I remember that I had an individual nickname for Loren other than everyone else, and that I used to go take pictures with Jordan and Ariel. What I am confused about is that Ariel would want to take pictures with me? She's so cute and she could find someone better, like Mario or Weston. Or Nick."

I cringed as soon as he associated Ariel finding someone better with Mario, especially since Zach couldn't tell that he liked her, and that's exactly what he wants. I immediately objected. "Bullshit. Mario doesn't deserve her," I snapped.

I must've surprised him. His eyes widened and he looked at me in a concerned way. "You alright? I didn't think anyone had a problem with Mario," he mumbled the last sentence.

I sighed and rolled my eyes. "I don't have a problem. I just don't like the idea of Mario and Ariel, and he wants her but she doesn't want him. She wants someone else and he doesn't know what the hell he's doing right now." I gripped the wheel harder, because I remembered that all of Zach's emotion the last time he was in the car and on the wheel. I couldn't let it happen to me.
