Chapter Six loosing control

Vlad's POV

So far everything is going smoothly. we are sitting down at the dining table enjoying one of the best lunches i have ever had. In the corner of my i see Dimitri shift in his seat.

"Would you all please excuse me for a minuet." He stands up and heads up stairs.

"Vlad could you go check on him please."

"Sure." I stand up and follow my brother's sent to his room. I open his door and immediately get shoved against the wall. I open my eyes and see Dimitri with his fangs extended.

"You might need this." I hold out a blood bag and he chucks it down trowing the bag in the bin when done.

"What's up with you today?" He takes a minuet to calm down before he answers me.

"Too many humans that's what." We head back down stairs and continue to eat. After we finish Jess and i head up to my room and she sits at my desk.

"What was wrong with Dimitri before?" I look at her and swiftly answer.

"Stomach ache." She looks at me weirdly but doesn't say anything. I suddenly her Dimitri's voice in my head.

'You need to tell her sooner or later.'

'I will but not yet. I need it to be the right time.'

I'm brought back to reality to the bed sinking and someone lying their head on my shoulder. I smile knowing it is Jess, but it soon fades when I get the urge to feed. i feel my fangs extend and i jump up running to  Dimitri's blood supple. The door opens and i know it is Dimitri because if it wasn't there would be screaming.

"She's mad." I look at him confused and he rolls his eyes.

"This is why you need tot tell her." i glare at him and he holds his hands up in surrender.

"I will. But i don't know how."

"Simple. Don't hesitate just straight out admit what you are." I glare at him again but nod. I walk back up to my room and see a mad looking Jessica.

"I'm sorry I left. i went and got some panadol from Dimitri." She glares at me and i know i have no choice but to tell her.

"Don't lie to me Vlad." I sigh and sit next to her.

"I won't. but i need you to be sure you won't be scared of me when I do tell you. Jessica, i'm not a human. I'm a vampire, have been for years. Dimitri is the same." She stands up and i stay sitting knowing that if i stand she will leave.

"Why tell me now?" I hear her crying and I look at her.

"Because I didn't want this reaction

"I need some time. Vlad stay away from me." She turns towards the door and I whisper something i should have said a long time ago. Te amo.

Jessica's POV

I run down stairs and out the front. i see my parents in the car and i walk over to them.

"Oh honey. we were going to let you stay the night."

"I think i might go home. I'm rather tired and I want a good nights sleep." Vlad's parents nod their heads and I slid in to the back of my dads car. I look up at Vlad's window and see him standing there looking at me with hurt in his eyes
