I made my way to hell right after a gym routine, and a proper shower. God. 30 minutes in the same goddamn street, why?

He got in the car as soon as he spotted it and said goodbye to the other two morons. They weren't really in sight, but he found where I was parked anyways so it didn't really matter to me.

Could we just speak about how simple yet endearing he looked? Messy look and all, there was a significant improvement.

I took in his look before ruffing his hair casually "why is it wet?" I asked without breaking my eye of the road as I made a u-turn from this sheep-field.

"Uh, we had gym last class, too lazy to dry it," he explained simply as I hummed in understanding. He was shuffling uncomfortably in his seat, well that's not the clothes issue any longer anymore.

"Whats up?" I asked, without revealing my recognition of the uneasiness in his tiny gestures.

"Want the truth?" He answered, back with a question raising both his eyebrows in a questioning manner.

Receiving nothing but an 'aha' from me.

He readjusted his position for the thousandth time and turned to look all the way to my direction.

"Well-" he began, but thats when it hits me. His laptop. It was left open on a page that I'm sure he's about to bring up.

"Is this about the concert?" I cut him as soon as I recalled today morning.

"You heard?" He grinned widely, and continued "yeah, it is."

I smiled slightly at his explanation of how I turned out with the conclusion, and decided to let it go.

"Did you get the tickets?" I asked.

"Um, not exactly" he shifted, and sat properly facing the street.

"So your question is.." I asked teasingly, knowing exactly what is coming out.

"Well you see.." He began itching the back of his neck. I just kept taking occasional glances as I got my attention back on the road. "I was kind of planning on going with Serena, but clearly she bailed on me, and my friends.. Well, they have their excuses. So I was wondering if you'd like go with me or something." He finished.

"So putting it bluntly you want a ride to San Diego" I corrected him.

"You could really come you would enjoy it, or you could just enjoy your time and we could arrange to meet when you're about to leave you know?" He was giving me his full attention now.

"Well, you do know its a 3 hour drive right?" I ask, genially. Mostly to make him feel uncomfortable. I'm a horrible person.

"Yes," he surrendered, and you could say he gave up from the way his head was hanging low and I could no longer see his eyes reflecting the sunlight.

"Well then, we cant miss a concert now can we?" I smiled cheerfully looking his way as his head shot up.

"Thank you," he said as he threw his arms and clung them around my neck.

"Eric, we'll die." I said quickly.

"What?" He replied into my neck.

"Literally." I half-yelled as I could literally no longer see.

"S-sorry" he returned back to his seat quickly and blushed. He was too pale the slightest blush could be seen over miles. Moreover, what the fuck was he blushing over?

My jaw was slightly cold from contact with his wet hair when he opened the door to leave.

"Thank you so much for today, and I really do-" everything else was a blur. Wont you look at those jeans. I did a damn good job in ripping them.

"Are you busy?" I asked and apparently cut him off, "like right now," I finished off to clear myself.

"No?" He said more of a question.

"Get in." I didn't bother to continue. He probably got used to it, his questioning rate was way lower now.

I drove into my parking and killed the engine. "Come on, I'll get a change and we can get moving"

"Where to exactly?" he couldn't hold it now, could he?

"The Mall," I replied after unlocking the keys to my apartment. "Make yourself at home," I yelled as I jogged my way to the stairs, and god, the echo game was strong.

I got into the closet room, and the options were endless. Just a zip up hood with the same sweats would do.

I made my way down the stairs and he was right where I left him. I grabbed my cap from the couch next to him where I'd last left, and back to the car we went.

The ride was quiet to the mall except his casual, non-offending questions.

"Why are you wearing trainers?" He asked. "Oh god, we aren't robbing the mall are we?"

I laughed as he just sat there confused as ever. "I don't need to rob one, sweetheart" I ruffed his hair again. I might get used to it actually. "The paparazzi would lose their minds if I was spotted shopping in the mall, but no worries you're a good cover-up."

He sat their frowning his eyebrows in pure confusion. I however, laughed at my hysterical joke.

We entered my shop, the only one I shop from more like, and greeted the cashier. Who had a weird name of Anisim, which I probably wouldn't remember without the help of a name tag.

"Good evening, We're looking for some casual wear. Any new collections?" I asked the Russian guy.

"Yes!" He exclaimed delightedly, "of course, we have the best one so far!" I smile back for a reply and follow his lead. He always seems to say so, every single time I come here. He knows me and I know him, By face at least, yet he plays his role as a good salesman.

We get to the corner and Eric's eyes are wandering everywhere stated that every inch of the wall is covered with clothing.

Three of us stand there. Eric, happy Pharell, and I. Anisim is holding the basket for us to help us out. It wouldn't bother him we were alone anyways. I looked up and threw my cap in the basket. "Mind if I do the picking?"

Regret. That was the only look on his face. Once the bag was about to explode I asked him to start trying them out while I filled another.

"You know what, I'll choose more later. Let's see if those fit first," I said pointing at the basket. "This might take a while.." I looked at his tag and continued "Anisim, I'll take it from here," I finished taking the bag from him

"Sure, thank you, Sir!" He grinned widely and left.

"And what are you waiting for?" I Said pushing him with my free hand towards the fitting room "Go, Go, Go!" I fake grinned.

The fitting rooms weren't huge but they did have a decent red couch in there. Okay it was a bit big, I threw myself on the couch and tossed him the first jeans.

"Come on, we haven't got all day" I said even though his blush was crystal clear.

"Could you like wait outside?" He proposed, looking everywhere but at me. I had to grow up, haven't I?

"Aight, I'll be waiting. Don't take too long," I said over my shoulders closing the door behind me.

He didn't take long to come out, and god were those pants beautiful. Blue, skinny, ripped jeans. Not his type, but definitely looking terrific.

"Um, perhaps a bigger size," he asked walking two steps forward.

"They fit perfectly," I ignored his suggestion and continued "just stop walking like a penguin," I frowned my eyebrows for a second and watched him walk back inside. Just a sneak peak, for a split second, did I check him out.
