Hey guys! Sorry if this chapter isn't up to par, I've been sick. Hope you guys enjoy this!
~Sarah's POV~As I'm just about to go to sleep, someone knocks on my door. I groan inwardly and get up. Dangit, I was finally in a comfortable spot! I grumble to myself as I head to the door. I open it up and see mom, and she has a smile on her face. Wait.. I know that look... she isn't... oh no.
"Mom, I know that face. Please don't ask me the questions I think you're gonna ask," I say. Mom just smiles even more.
"Oh, come on! Tell me what happened when you two were alone," she said, wiggling her eyebrows. Ever since I told mom that I like Nathan, she's been teasing me about it and shipping me with him. Wait - correction, she luxury cruise ships me and Nathan. Oh, sorry, Nathan and I to you grammar nazis. What our ship name is, I don't even know. Anyway, telling mom about Nathan? Worst. Decision. Ever.
"Mom! Nothing happened! He doesn't even know I like him!" I say. She then mutters something about me not knowing something.
"What?" I ask, wondering what she just said.
"Nothing, nothing," she says, "But hun, you need to tell him someday. There's nothing keeping you from telling him."
"Yes there is! If I tell him our whole friendship would be awkward and I can't lose my bestfriend."
"And how do you know that would happen?"
"...I-I don't but I just don't want to risk it.." Mom puts her hand on my shoulder and sighs.
"The only things you'll regret are the things you did not do." And with that she left. I groan and flop on my bed. She's right, y'know. You have to tell him at some point. Oh shut up.

It's before the movie's and Nate and I are the first ones there. I turn to him and take a deep breath.
"Nate, I have something to tell you and it might destroy our friendship but you deserve to know. I... I like you.. as in... like-like you.." I say. He smiles and takes my hand. Oh my gosh.
"I like-like you too," he says. He pulls me closer and then -
Beep.
I groan and rub my eyes. I look at my phone and see a text from the cell phone thingy that I'm subscribed to. Stupid ads and promos...
Well I guess it's good for me since I didn't want to dream of Nate... Yeah ok I need to stop thinking about that.
I check my clock to see what time it is. 9:53. The gang is gonna meet up at the mall at 11. Since the mall is a 15 minute drive from my house I'm not in much of a hurry. I get up and get down to eat breakfast. My mom is just about to leave for work and dad is saying goodbye to my mom. My mom sees me and she waves and I wave back. I go to the table and get some cereal for breakfast and my dad joins me. I raise my eyebrow as I eat my food.
"So what's this about you and Nathan being in your room alone yesterday?" he asks bluntly. While my mom ships me with Nate, my dad is still protective of me even though I'm 17. He trusts Nate and all, but he's still weary of "possible love interests."
"The others couldn't make it, so it was just me and Nate. I promise we didn't do anything bad, just watched some comedy movies," I say. He just raises his eyebrow at me, judging weather or not he should trust me.
"I gotta get ready to go, the gang is gonna meet up as usual," I say, breaking his stare. I get up and get ready to go to the mall.
I go downstairs in my jeans, white v-neck shirt, sneakers and black jacket and grab my car keys. After saying goodbye to dad, I head out to the mall.
