Chapter 8

THREE MONTHS LATER

ASHLEY POV

Its been three months since Juliet's death. Its been hard on Andy and I know that Aura must miss her mommy. But I did convince Andy to come and live with me for a while. He shouldn't be alone.

Well I went up in town to do a bit of grocery shopping. When I got back I could hear Aura crying through the baby monitor but Andy was nowhere. After several minutes of Aura crying I went to check on her wondering why Andy hadn't seen to her. I found her to be soaking wet. I changed her then spoke, "Where is your daddy? Why didn't he see to you? Let's go find him. Andy! Andy where are you."

I went to his room and found a note on the bed. It read:

I'm sorry Ashy. I can't go on like this. I miss Juliet. Please don't hate me. Tell Aura that I love her always. I know you will take good care of her. Thank you for everything. Andy.

Andy what have you done. I looked around for Andy and found the bathroom door locked and knocked on the door. Andy are you in there Andy answer me. There was no answer I started to get worried laid Aura down in her crib. Then I began to break the door down. After a few minutes I managed to break it. The loud noises made Aura cry. I ignored it only because I didn't know what I was going to find behind this door. I finally opened the door. What I found was heart breaking.

Andy was laying in the tub bleeding from his wrists from deep cuts he made from a razor. The razor was on the floor nearby. I quickly pulled him out as doing that I saw two empty bottles of sleeping pills. I screamed, "ANDY! NOOOOOO!!!!!". I quickly pulled out my phone called 911 while wrapping towels around his wrists to stop the bleeding.

911 CALL
O. OPERATOR A. ASHLEY

O. 911 what's your emergency.

A. I need an ambulance at *********** My friend tried to kill himself.

O. OK. What has he dine? And what is his name and yours?

A. His name is Andy, my name is Ashley. He cut his wrists with a razor and took two bottles of sleeping pills.

O. Alright Ashley an ambulance is on its way. Do you know how long its been since he did this?

A. No I just got back. His nine month old baby girl was crying. Please hurry.

O. Alright. Ashley check for a pulse on Andy.

A. (Ashley checked for Andy's pulse.) Its weak I can barely feel it.

O. Alright stay on the phone with me. Do you know why he would do this?

A. Yes. Three months ago he lost his wife in a car wreak. He couldn't stand it anymore. God please where are they?

O. Calm down Ashley they are almost there.

(Then Ashley heard the sirens getting closer.)

A. I hear them let me go open the door. (Ashley ran downstairs and opened the door as they pulled up.) They're here.

O. Alright Ashley I'm going to let you go. I hope your friend will be alright. Bye.

A. Thanks bye.

END PHONE CALL

Then Ashley brought them to Andy. He grabbed Aura.

The paramedics put Andy on the stretcher and they all went to the ambulance.

Ashley had grabbed Aura's bag and left in the ambulance with them.

When they got to the ER Ashley sat in the waiting room. He called the guys and told them what happened. Within thirty minutes they were all there. They waited to see about Andy.

Andy had nearly died but they were able to save him. But the sleeping pills he took caused him to slip into a coma...
