Louis's POV

It was about 4:30 pm, an hour till my job ended, when Matt called me. I was sitting at my desk that was outside Mr. Styles' room flipping through a magazine when I felt my phone buzz in my pocket. I pulled it out and looked at the caller ID and sighed. Why was he calling me when I made everything very clear to him in the morning. He was probably calling to apologise or to tell me to come back or else. I contemplated whether to answer the call but I decided against it. I didn't want people to overhear our conversation and who knows what Matt was going to say. I could end up crying and staying in a bathroom stall for the rest of the day. Trust me, it has happened before. People were staring at me, pointing and laughing. I don't want to relive it even though it's just a stupid phone call. I pressed the red decline button and placed my phone on my desk.

I continued reading the magazine until Mr. Styles came out looking..angry? His eyebrows were furrowed, his fists clenched into fists and his eyes weren't the shiny emerald green I always saw. Why was he so angry? I didn't have time to think because he was taking long strides to me and stopped in front of my desk. He looked down at me and out of no where asked, "Who's Matt?" I froze. I looked anywhere but his eyes and felt my heart start beating faster. I couldn't answer as there was a lump in my throat the size of a peach.

"H-how do you um know um h-him?" I asked trying my best not to stutter as well as my eyes never looking at his. They stayed firmly on my shoes as I memorised the patterns and stitchings. I knew he wouldn't like me look down and not at him. His fingers gripped my chin and tilted it up so I was face to face with him. "That's not important right now, so answer my question. Who is he?" He whispered but in a harsh tone. "H-he um he's a um a guy I-I kn-know." I said barely above a whisper. "Do you like him?" He asked. My worried face then went away into a more puzzled one. "W-what? No! Why would you think that?" I whisper shouted. Harry sighed heavily, grabbed my wrist and dragged me into his office.

"Louis, why do you look so uncomfortable in this picture?" Harry asked now sitting on his chair turning the computer so I could see it. When I saw the picture I gasped. It was from my Instagram. I thought I deleted it. "H-how did you um f-find my acc-" I started but I was cut off by Harry saying, "I just Googled your name and this came up, now answer my question, Louis." His tone was so harsh and dominant, it made my knees go weak so I quickly sat down on the white sofa. "W-well um that p-picture was um i-it was um a j-joke, yeah." I answered awkwardly hoping he couldn't tell I was lying. He looked straight in my eyes and at that exact moment I was so mesmerised in Harry that wouldn't have cared if Matt had shown up. I must've been staring at him for some time because he was waving a hand in front of his face to make me come back from the trance. I couldn't help it, his eyes were so beautiful that if you stared at them long enough you would get as lost as if you were in a maze. They were my weakness when it came to him. That's why i stuttered so much.

"I don't believe you." He finally said making me remember what we were talking about in the first place. Matt. "It's true, I'm um not lying sir." I said again staring at my shoes. Harry noticed this so he walked to the couch and sat next to me, the couch making a fart like sound as he sat down. I giggled loudly and covered my mouth trying to stop laughing as he might think I was laughing at him. "I-I'm soh-sorry sir," I managed out between squeals of laughter. Once I had calmed down I noticed Harry was staring at me with a fond look on his face. "You, are so adorable. You know that right?" Harry asked. I blushed and nodded slowly. "Louis, look at me." he commanded which made me comply. I was now staring at those sacred green orbs of beauty until he started talking, "Listen, I was only asking you all these questions because I really care about you and I don't want you to be unhappy or sad. I just want to protect you, so never be nervous or scared to ask me for anything, really Lou, I don't mind." He spoke in this deep, masculine voice. I nodded along even though I didn't hear half of what he said, I was too busy imagining him proposing to me.
