Chapter 8

Louis' POV

It's been 2 hours since my first day at my new job ended. I drove home hurriedly, luckily not getting a ticket and I've spent the 2 hours on my bed. I was watching The Vampire Diaries and was eating rainbow sherbet out the tin. I was waiting and waiting for Matt to come in and my life would go back to how it always was, but he never showed up. I wonder why he called me. I can't call him back I'm too scared. I didn't want to call him because I was afraid my life would go back to how it always was. I didn't want the daily insults I got from him, the occasional slap on the face of the shove to the floor. I was done with that life. If he ever comes back I will put up a fight, no matter what it takes. Heck, I would rather live with my parents for the rest of my life than life with Matt.

Once I was done catching up on The Vampire Diaries, I got up and decided to make lunch. I always had a passion for cooking and baking but Matt would never let me near the stove, always thinking I would burn the house down. I threw away the rainbow sherbet tin and opened the fridge, scanning through all the shelves. I finally settled for spaghetti Bolognese since that didn't require that much work. I boiled the pasta until it was al dente, mixed the meat with some store bought tomato sauce and then plated adding some grated cheese on top.

Once I was done eating, did the dishes while thinking of my new job and what was waiting for me tomorrow. Mr. Styles was strangely over protective of me today over all that stuff with Matt. I wonder why. I would love to have someone as caring as him for a boyfriend and not a needy ignorant man like Matt. I could imagine cuddling with Mr. Styles on my sofa eating junk food and watching scary movies so I would have to hide my face in the crook of his neck. He would then place me on his lap and make me feel better by soothing me with kind words and rubbing my back slowly. Matt would always watch scary movies with me but would then start laughing at me because I was so scared. Why did I ever date him? Oh yeah, because he wasn't such an asshole when I first met him.

i know i promised that i would update more because summer started but i had to stay in Finland for longer than i expected and there was literally no wifi :( i'll try to update today or tomorrow, no promises.
