*Katy's P.O.V.*
I heard the front door be unlocked and opened, mom was standing at the door talking to someone on the phone and with a bag of Chinese food in her hand. I sniffed the air because I love the way Chinese food smells, it's so delicious. I got up from the couch and walked over to her, she handed me the bag and waved me off. I happily marched to the living room with my chopsticks and food and sat down. I was eating my food and watching TV andshe came into the living room and sat down on the arm chair across from me.
"I was just on the phone with your principal" she said, what? I didn't do anything wrong, I haven't skipped class, or ditched or anything.
"Mom I swear I didnt do anyth-" she then cuts me off
"You didn't do anything bad, I was talking to him because I have to go on a business trip on Monday for a week and you have to come with me" Business trip? Skip school? Count me in! What about Chloe and Rileigh? Josh? I can text them anytime.
"So should I ask my teacher's to give me the homework for next week on Friday?" I hope she says yes because I do not want to fall behind or miss anything... Plus it will give me something to do when she is at meetings all week.
"Yes, and on Friday when you come home you better have it also because if you say 'I forgot' I will take away your phone so you won't talk to Chloe and Rileigh for a week" cough and Josh. Oh yeah, I have to tell her about going to the movies with Josh on Saturday.
"I'm going to the movies with a friend on Saturday" Please let me go.
"What friend?" she asks smiling. Why is she smiling?
"Um, his name is Josh"
"JOSH!" she yells excitedly and I gave her a confused look. How does she know Josh? She seems to have read my mind because she then said.
"I heard you talking about him with Chloe and Rileigh when they were over. Oh honey that's great" She snooped on us, again. I got up from the couch and walked into the kitchen and threw away my empty Chinese food container and chopsticks. I left the kitchen and went to my room, and face planted to my bed. I sat up and grabbed my phone and went on Instagram, I stalked his page for a while and then I turned off my phone.

*SATURDAY*
I sat up and rubbed my eyes, I threw my comforter off my body and stood up. I walked to my bathroom and brushed my teeth and used mouth wash. I walked out of the bathroom really quick to grab my bra and under wear and walked back into the bathroom. I stripped down and got into the shower. I took my time to cleanse my body and then turned the water off. I grabbed a towel off the rack and wrapped it around me.
