chapter 3

I'm walking home and I get this feeling that someone is following me, I turn around and look around and no one is there walking behind me or anything, weird. I just shake it off and keep walking. I get to the front door and it's locked. She must not be home yet, I get my keys out and unlock the door and go inside. There is a note on the counter that says

Katy,

I will be home in about 30 minutes. I went to get some groceries. Will be back soon. Call if you need anything.

XX Mom

I dialed her number and it rang three times before she answered

"Hi Katy how was school?" She asked

"Fine. Hey can Rileigh and Chloe come stay over tonight? We want to do a study group thing" I asked

"Sure. Have they asked their parents yet?" She said

"No not yet, I told them to let me ask you first" I told her

"Okay, you can tell them to come over. But you actually have to study alright?" She asked more as a command instead of a question.

"Yes mom we will, bye" I said and hung up

Now I have to call Chloe.

"Did she say yes?" She asked

"Yeah, get your stuff ready and come over she is at the grocery store right now." I told her

"Okay, see you in a bit!" She said and hung up

Ok now I have to call Rileigh. I dialed her number and she answered

"Can we come over?" She asked

"Yep, get your stuff ready and come over. My mom is that the grocery store now" I said

"Yay! Okay I'm coming soon" She said and we hung up.

I went into my room and changed my clothes, I changed into my cat sweatshirt which I love, leggings, and my uggs. I put my hair in a tight bun and took off my makeup, adding just a little mascara and perfume. I brushed my teeth and sat on the couch and watched T.V.

There was a knock on the door and I checked through the peephole and it was some dude. GO AWAY WE DON'T WANT ANYTHING! I sat down thinking he would go away in a minute, nope he started ringing the damn door bell. What do you want?!? I opened the door and said

"Sorry we aren't interested in what you are selling"

"Oh okay, but would you like us to mow your lawn for five dollars?" He asked. NO DUMBASS I JUST TOLD YOU NO!

"No thank you, have a good day sir" and closed the door. He walked away and went to bug the other neighbors, I sat back down and a couple minutes later there was another knock on the door. I went to check the peep hole and it was Chloe and Rileigh, I opened the door and let them inside.

"My mom should be home any minute"

"Good I'm starving" Rileigh said, we laughed and I saw a car turn into the driveway

"She's here!"

I open the door and we ran outside to help

"Chloe, Rileigh how was school?" mom asked while getting out of the car, she opens the trunk and there is about 15 bags of groceries in the trunk.

"Fine" They both said. We all grabbed some bags and went inside to put them in the kitchen, while she was putting the groceries away, we went to my room to work on homework. After about two hours we finally finished and went to the kitchen to get dinner. Mom ordered pizza so it was coming soon. They pizza boy came and I paid him. I brought the pizza to the counter and got plates and napkins. We grabbed two slices and went back into my room and sat on my bed.

"Oh my god, the art teacher is so funny!" Rileigh said and Chloe nodded, I take drama not art. Art was my third choice but I didn't make it in but that's totally fine since I love drama, the teacher is really funny and she is super pretty too. She is only like 25 or something.

"This dude Carlos fell out of his chair and she took out the super glue and started walking towards him it was sooooo funny" she said while laughing, Chloe and I joined in and I started laughing really hard thinking about that image and I fell off my bed and we started laughing even harder. I finally got up from the ground and we calmed down a bit.

"Did you see that boy Josh in Science class? He is cute" I said, he is really cute though, blonde hair. blue eyes, sweet, kind, nice, and funny.

"Oooooooo does Katy have a little crush?" Chloe teased, I felt myself smiling, do I have a crush on Josh? I don't know, he probably doesn't know I exist, does he? I don't know, I don't know, I don't know, but what if he thinks I'm pretty and he likes me? Probably not but maybe, just maybe, what if he thinks I'm weird? What if he doesn't like me? Shut up Katy you are making it worst. I shook it off for now.

"I don't know he's cute and all but I don't think he likes me, nor know I exist"

"Of course he likes you! You're pretty, smart, funny, nice, everything someone could wish for" Rileigh said and I smiled. Maybe she's right.

"Okay... So have you guys seen any cute boys?"

"My boyfriend" Chloe said, I giggled and looked at Rileigh who had her head down but I could tell she was smiling.

"Rileigh who is it?!"

"Pfffttt, what are you talking about?" she said but I can clearly tell

"What's his name?" Chloe asks excitedly and we both scooted closer to her

"Okay, okay, his name is Jack" she said smiling ear to ear, my mouth dropped completely

"OH MY GOD JACK? POPULAR AND WITH A CHEER LEADER GIRLFRIEND JACK?!?" Chloe yelled, if its not him then it has to be other popular but nice Jack who has blonde hair and braces.

"No not him the other one" she said, oh good because I did not want to break it to her that Jack's cheer leader girlfriend would rip her to shreds if she found out.

"Oh that Jack" Chloe said and we both sighed in relief

"He is in my English class and he sits in front of me" she said with happiness, wow its only been the first day and we already have crushes, at least we aren't the other girls who just got a boyfriend today even though they just met them. We talked for about five more hours until my mom came up and told us to go to sleep because we have school tomorrow.
