Chapter 23: True colours

"Oh... Oh God..." Chara whispered in shock. Frisk hadn't noticed yet. He was still making multiple cuts. As Chara crept closer, she couldn't believe what she heard.

"Pathetic, weak, merciful freak" he whispered along with other negative
comments. It was only when Chara gasped at how much blood was coming out that Frisk noticed her and turned around. His eyes widened at the look of Chara and he instantly dropped the knife in his hand. Before Chara could speak, he ran towards the bathroom. As soon as he got inside, he locked it and leaned against the door so fast it was if his life depended on it... Well it kinda did due to the blood loss...

Chara didn't know what to do. Or even how to react. She had never seen Frisk like this before. He was always so optimistic and kind yet here he was, cutting himself, and insulting himself like he was nothing but a wasted trash paper.

"Fr-Frisk? Please, I know you're in there. Open up" Chara pleaded. Her voice soft, yet firm.

"G-Go away. Y-You've already seen how weak I am. You d-did say it was kill or be killed so... Here I am killing myself" said Frisk and sighed to himself.

Frisk's POV
I'm so weak. I can't even come up with a good way to tell Chara that she should leave me alone. 

"Can you at least let me in. Just so I can see you face to face?" She asked. I thought about it for a moment before unlocking the door. Without a second to spare, I was in a tight hug. I soon hugged back and we stayed like that for a while until Chara let me go.

"I'm sorry", I cried as I let the tears roll freely down my face. Chara couldn't see me but I knew she could feel my tears dripping on her sweater, "please... just leave me alone... I don't deserve to be cared for. I don't deserve your care. After all, it's kill or be killed... isn't it? Isn't that what you and Asr-Flowey always tell me?"

She was silent for a minute before she spoke again.

"Frisk, don't say that. You deserve all the care in the whole world", she said, "and I gave up that saying a while ago" she wiped my tears and held my bloodied hands.

"But..."

"Frisk..." she took a deep breath, and held my shoulders. She also started to have a really deep blush on her face.

"C-Chara?... Are yo-" I started but was soon yelled at by Chara.

"LOVE YOURSELF! I LOVE YOU!" She yelled before our lips met. I was shocked at first but soon melted into the kiss and kissed back.

Me: I'm sorry T-T I promised to make it longer but I couldn't... I had so many things to do plus my friends kept me busy with an RP we're doing!

Sans: plus she can't write a kiss scene

Me: What the- where did you come from?!

Sans: doesn't matter

Me: and I CAN write a kiss scene, you'll see!

Sans: Heh

Me: I'L STAY UP ALL NIGHT IF I HAVE TO!

Sans: ok... if you say so

Me: shut up!
