The trainees did their daily sets of pushups and sit ups. Jun Seo told Riyoung to take over the next training, since he had things to do.
"He said he already set up the rope climb right?" Tae Yeong nodded at the question.
"He also said, 'Don't break the ropes, or I will kill you' or something equally threatening" Riyoung nodded, understanding how many sets of ropes Jun Seo had that she and Tae Yeong broke accidentally.
"Tell the trainees to meet me on the field, I'll check on the ropes" Tae Yeong saluted, then ran off to the resting trainees.
Riyoung checked the ropes, that Jun Seo already set up on the platform. She pulled the ropes to test it, doing 1 set of rope climbing.
She heard the footsteps of the trainees and went down.
"Dangyeol!" The whole batch saluted, and Riyoung returned the salute.
"Today we'll be doing rope climbing... 3 sets to failure. Get it?" Riyoung stated, Tae Yeong face palmed at her short explanation.
But somehow, the whole batch got it.

They took turns climbing, 3 people at a time. Riyoung stood and observed them, seeing some failing, some succeeding.
Then it was Namjoon's turn, Riyoung's blank faced quickly turned to a bitter one.
As Namjoon gripped onto the rope.
It broke.
"Kim NaMSHIT!" Riyoung shouted in panic. Namjoon looked at the piece of rope on his hand, shocked.
Riyoung scrambled to his side, looking at the rope.
"What the hell, Jun Seo is going to skin me alive!" She panicked as she held onto the rope desperately.
"I'm s-sorry?!" Namjoon apologized, but with a questioning tone due to his confusion of her panicked state.
Namjoon took the rope from her hands, trying to fix it.
Keyword; trying.
The rope began to come loose, from the big strong rope, loosened to the smaller ropes that made it.
Riyoung felt like she was going to cry.
Jun Seo and being mad are two things she's afraid of from her years in the army.
Namjoon panicked and tried to twist the smaller ropes together and form the bigger rope again.
Only to fail once again.
Tae Yeong watched the two panicking from afar. The other trainees looked at them in confusion.
Tae Yeong sighed and walked up to them, taking the small ropes, and somehow fixed it quickly.
He turned to the two, only to see the trainee and his captain gaping at him in awe.
"Why haven't I quit the army, I myself don't know..." He asked himself as he goes back to his spot.

The night came, and the trainees were happily chatting. While in the corner, Tae Yeong and a fuming Jun Seo sat.
"So where's our little captain?" He asked Tae Yeong in between gritted teeth.
"Come on, I fixed it... Let it go" Tae Yeong sighed.
"That didn't answer my question, Tae Yeong"
"Hiding from you, obviously" Jun Seo clicked his tongue, still pissed.

"Go away, he'll find me!" Riyoung whisper yelled to the tall male.
"He's in the dining hall, how could he even find you out here?" Namjoon asked, as he watched Riyoung climbing up to the roof of the storage room.
"And climbing up that high, won't he see you?" Riyoung stuck her tongue out at him.
"Not if I lay low!" She climbed up and laid down on the roof.
Seeing that he didn't have anything to do, he climbed up and laid next to her.
"Why are you following me?" Riyoung hissed at him, he just shrugged.
"I'm bored, you're entertaining... Make sense?" Riyoung scoffed.
"Me? Your captain? Entertaining? Yeah sure, dance monster" Namjoon twitched at the mention of 'dance monster'.
"I mean, is there any other captain who is afraid of their lieutenant until she has to hide?"
"You haven't seen Jun Seo mad. Don't even get me started on how almost a whole meeting room wanted to pee their pants when he was mad" Riyoung defended, yet shivering at the bad and haunting memories.
"Yeah sure..." After he answered, they didn't talk again, silence greeted them. Strangely, a comfortable silence.
"Say... Why did you join the army?" Namjoon broke the silence.
"Why? Hmm..." She hummed then answered, "The sound of beating people up in the army sounded great so I joined"
"What?" Namjoon who was clearly dumbfounded by her answer.
"But I passed the interview with the usual 'I want to protect this country' stuff, you know, the usual" She shrugged, being completely honest.
"So, uhh... What did my hyungs do when they were here?" Riyoung hummed and answered.
"Seokjin was really helpful, he liked to help around the kitchen and other stuff, very disciplined actually. I'll be honest, sometimes both of us sneaked out to play Mario bros. in a DS simulator on my phone" Riyoung said, remembering the male.
"Yoongi, well... Less helpful, but likes to lighten up the mood. He likes to sleep a lot, in his first few days, he overslept, and I had to forcefully wake him up. He likes talking to me and Tae Yeong more than other trainees, he introduced me to BTS's music, rapping small bits of your songs sometimes" Riyoung told him about Yoongi.
"Then there was that talented kid, Hoseok. He lightens up the mood almost every second. Sometimes when I was pissed, he'd come to my table at the dining hall and started dancing to 'Touch My Body' with a big grin on his face" Riyoung chuckled as she remembered being startled when the trainee suddenly came up to her and danced.
Namjoon laughed, imagining the older members of BTS doing all of that.
"And now there's you..." Riyoung stated with a frown, which received a light flick on the forehead from Namjoon.
"You're quite close to trainees aren't you?" Riyoung nodded at the question.
"I have too. I don't want trainees under my supervision training in stress, that's why I socialize with them a lot to lighten up the stress they accumulated due to their entry in the army" Namjoon nodded at her answer, slightly admiring her choice of actions.
Suddenly footsteps were heard and both of them quickly silenced themselves.
"Tae Riyoung, I know you're up there"
It was Jun Seo.
Riyoung breathed out one last word before her doom in Jun Seo's arms.
"Fuck"
Namjoon could only watch as Riyoung was begging for forgiveness to the older lieutenant who was giving her a blank stare.
