"Lieutenant Tae Riyoung, reporting for duty!" The young Lieutenant said her name, by syllable and saluted to the captain.
"At ease, Lieutenant Tae Riyoung" The captain, Yoo Chung Jae, said and Riyoung quickly released her salute.
The captain and lieutenant were on the way to the field, to greet the batch of new trainees.
"I heard there's an idol with them" Riyoung said, and Chung Jae nodded.
"From this idol group called, Bangtan Sonyeondan if I'm not wrong" Riyoung gave a small 'Ooh' and followed the captain.
"Eldest?" Chung Jae nodded ay her question.
"Captain, this would probably be your last year as a captain right?" Riyoun asked with a grin, hearing rumours he was going to be promoted to Major.
He gave a light chuckle and nodded, "And I wish your luck to be promoted to captain then Riyoung"
Riyoung nodded enthusiastically, seeing Chung Jae being a captain was honestly inspiring to her.
He was a year older than her, the same age as Jun Seo, who was a second lieutenant.
She wanted to know what it feels to be a captain or even higher ranks, to know how it feels for people to look up at you.
The thought itself made her grin.
Her current position as a second lieutenant is great, but she still wanted to reach higher goals. Maybe even until she reached Major too.
"How's Tae Yeong and Jun Seo?" Riyoung hummed, remembering her two close friends in the army. Tae Yeong who's the same age as her and Jun Seo who was one year older than her.
Riyoung entered the army first, followed a year after by Jun Seo, then Tae Yeong.
Both of the guys who entered at the same year, somehow always get promoted at the same time. When Jun Seo reached second lieutenant, so did Tae Yeong.
"They're fine, they were sent to help out in another base" Chung Jae nodded.
Both of them finally reached the trainees, then Chung Jae ordered them to line up.
But one of them accidentally bumped Riyoung, knocking her clipboard out of her hands.
He scrambled to take it and he handed it back to her.
"Uh sorry! Here's your clipboard... Umm" Riyoung nodded, taking her clipboard, then reaching a hand out for a handshake.
"I'm lieutenant Tae Riyoung, nice to meet you" The taller male nodded, with a smile he shook her hand.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Kim Seokjin"

Seokjin was an average trainee, he had his fair share of talent and awkwardness.
He apparently did great in the rope climb training, having a higher quota of sets he could do than other trainees.
Riyoung walked to the kitchen, deciding to help out with dinner, only to bump into Seokjin once again.
"Ah! Lieutenant! Hello, nice to see you again!" He smiled.
"Seokj-" He held his hands up with a smile, "You can call me Jin!"
"Alright then, Jin..." She laughed lightly, "Why do we always end up bumping to eachother?" He chuckled and shrugged.
"I'm actually here to help out in the kitchen, the chef seemed a little bit troubled" He chuckled sheepishly, Riyoung gave him a small 'Ooh'.
