You took the note out of your pocket. "Call me ;)" It said. Putting the number in your phone, you get up and start to walk home. The rain stopped an hour ago.
Max POV
I sat on the couch, twirling my phone around in my hands. I probably looked anxious because Tim came and sat next to me.
"Waiting for a phone call or something?" He asked.
"Yeah." I pressed the home button on my phone, revealing nothing but the lock screen. Disappointed, I got up.
Why won't he call me... Did I make him too nervous? Was I too mean on our first meeting?
My ringtone went off, checking the number, I answered.
"Hello?"
"I-is this Max?"
"Yeah. Why are you?" I ask. Completely oblivious.
"(Y/n)..." He answered shyly.
"Oh hey listen, can we go talk somewhere? Just you and me?" I wanted to talk to him more. Instead of being rushed by Tim being an asshole...
"Uhm sure. Where?"
"Bagel shop."
"Sure. When?"
"Does 3 work?"
"Yeah it does. Okay see you then, Max."
"Bye (y/n)."
I felt my cheeks start burning up. Did I just ask him on a date? No. It's just ab little hang out.... You know.. Yeah. I'm not Gay... Am I?
I mean... For a guy he's pretty good looking and fit. He should have a girlfriend. Right? Because what girl could pass up someone like that?!
Thoughts clouded my mind as I lay on me bed waiting for it to be 3:00.
