Insecurity, heartache, pain, guilt, and longing...the pillars that held a mess like me together. Life used to feel like a fairytale as a child, everyone loved and adored you for being you even when you screwed up. And now as you grow older, hate is regurgitated and spat in your face. You can't be better than anyone here. You can't BE anything nor BE anything but normal, and my parents would remind me of that everyday.

Beaten, degraded, and hated every single day made me slowly lose grasp of my sanity... I can't stay here any longer or..well I fear the worst. So when those inhumane heathens fall asleep tonight, I have to be ready to leave

Sneaking through the house (Y/N) dragged her backpack into the pantry and immediately started stuffing food into it. Once she was certain it was full enough, she daringly pranced quietly into her parents room making sure she didn't touch any turns or unwanted creaks on the floor. Digging into the closet she found a large cash stash, stuffed it into her backpack, dashed out the room, and out the front door. This was it! Freedom!! You ran and ran feeling more alive then you had for years! A big smile plastered across your face for the first time in forever, as the soft but ichy grass tickled below your feet. You then began your journey to the tallest mountain in your neighborhood, Mt. Ebott.

A few minutes later, you arrived on top of the mountain.

"Haven't been here in a while.." you mumbled out. Back then you had a best friend named Frisk. You both were inseparable, until that day. A day you won't ever forget, no matter how hard you tried to.

"Frisk slow down!" A younger (Y/N) cried out chasing after her friend, while laughing.

"No way!" Yelled the running brown bob, haired child. "This is fun-" Frisk was cut off after tripping over a nearby rock and screamed as they went tumbling toward the hole. They skidded to a halt and their body slid off the edge...But the child's screams were still audible.

"FRISK!" (Y/N) ran to their aid and peaked her head over the edge, seeing her friend holding on for dead life on a vine. She tried to reach your hand out and she successfully grabbed their hand. Pulling with all her might, she couldn't lift Frisk up and her grip started to loosen. "F-Frisk, I-I can't hold on!" You whined with tears forming in your eyes. Fear was plastered onto Frisk's face and before they could say anything, they slid out of your hand and at that moment Frisk fell.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOO, FRISK!"

Your best friend was gone, and it was all your fault. Living with that guilt killed you! After everyone found out what happened, they all outcasted you. Frisk's parents even blamed you. The more and more you thought, your grip tightened on the straps of your backpack. Warm, liquids trickled from your eyes and you broke down. Can't you make the pain go away? Can't you end it in some way..? Your eyes landed on the hole, the same one Frisk fell into. Your mind cluttered with only the words of, "Do it." Closer and closer...and then. Silence. You didn't scream as you jumped in, you accepted your fate.
