I'm not as weak as you think

It has been 3 years since I left Konoha and I have become much stronger since then. I have just completed an assassination mission for Pein-sama and was on my way back to the base. He told me that he needed to discuss something with me after I completed the mission and I was dying to know what he wanted to tell me. I increased my speed and rushed to the base entrance. I did the hand signs and waited until the rock was out of the way. I walked in and yelled "I'm home!" I made my way to Pein-sama's office and knocked on the door. I walked in and bowed. I gave a brief report on the mission and waited for his word to stand.

He told me to stand up and close the door. I did as I was told, then turned to face him. Then he started to speak "Sakura, I'm going to send you on a secret mission. You are going to become a Konoha ninja and resident, starting from tomorrow. You are to gather information on them. I'll send a member at the end of each week to check on you and receive the information you've recovered that week. I'm counting on you, Sakura." I nodded and took my leave. I went to my room to pack my things. I needed to stop by a village to buy new clothes because all the clothes I had were made from Akatsuki cloaks. I stole money from Kakazu and said my goodbyes. I wasn't going to be home for a while.

I stopped at a village nearby and put on my black cloak before entering the gate. I walked in a clothes store and went to the woman's section. I choose a white blouse that showed my waist and black training pants. I bought new ninja boots and vest, as well. I paid for everything and started to head to Konoha. A few hours later, I saw the gates from a distance. I went into the forest to change into my newly bought clothes. When I was done, I went back onto the path and started to run again. I was stopped by the gate patrol ninjas and was asked "State your purpose." I replied "I'm hear to see the Hokage. I wish to be a Konoha ninja, again." When I said the word 'again' the two ninja looked at each other and led me to the Hokage's office.

On my way to the Hokage's office, I passed my old house. I saw my mother from the kitchen window. I smiled and waved at her, hoping she would recognize me. When I looked back at her, she was gaping and calling for my father. The last thing I saw her do was run to the front door. We walked into the Hokage building and went up some stairs. 'This place hasn't changed a bit.' I thought as we walked towards the Hokage's office. One of the ninjas knocked on the door and walked in. Sitting at the desk was a young woman with creamy yellow hair styled into low pig tails. She had a purple diamond mark in the middle of her forehead. Next to her was a huge bottle of sake.

"Hokage-sama, there is someone who would like to speak with you." one of the ninja said. The young woman looked up and at me. Then she looked back at the paper on her desk. It was my file from 3 years ago. It looked like she was going to send ninjas to find me. She dismissed the two ninja and studied me. I bowed and said "Please let me become a ninja and resident of Konoha, again. I only left to train and to prove my strength to my sensei, Kakashi Hatake. I meant no harm to the village." She said "Tell me your story." I looked up and started to tell her "We had just passed the test Kakashi made. He pulled me aside and sent the others home. He told me I was smart, but not strong enough. He told me to quit as a ninja. That night I packed my belongings and left the village. I travel around the country and trained. I earned money by completing missions for other villages. When I thought I was strong enough, I came back to the village."

She looked at me and said "We will need to test you to determine your rank. Meet me at Team 7's training grounds tomorrow at noon." I nodded and went outside. Once I walked out of the building, I saw my parents running towards my direction. I walked in the direction of my house. My parents collided with me. They quickly apologized and began to run again. I smiled and called out "You don't hug your own daughter! I thought you missed me!" They quickly stopped and turned around. Then they ran to me and squeezed me as tight as they could. I patted their backs and said "There, there. I told you not to worry about me."
