Wtf.....How am I in Naruto's house...and why was I in his bed!?

Sasuke P.O.V.

Pushing myself away from the beds warmth, I stretched my arms above my head.

A lazy yawn passed my lips as I wandered into the dim hallway.

Rays of light peaked through the tan curtains as a gust of wind caressed them. The living room was somewhat small but cozy in a way. It was painted a lighter shade of maroon that resembled a sunset. Then melted into a kitchen that surprisingly had cooking utensils scattered around. Something felt off...

the air was thick with an unsettling tension...Almost like the still seconds before battle. I reached up and touched where the irritating cut throbbed.

Someone must have bandaged it up while I was asleep.

A loud knock wrecked my train of thought.Striding to the front door I unlocked and cracked it just enough to see.

It's only Sakura...Where the heck is Naruto...?

"Hello Sasuke" The pink haired girl sung with a smile gracing her lips.

I noticed her scrunched up features that screamed worry.

"Hey Sakura-chan...what's up?" .

"Have you seen Naruto?" .

"Well...considering I just woke up.No I haven't...why...do we have a mission?!" Excitement leaked into my voice at the thought of another journey.

"No actually...it's just...no one has seen Naruto for a few days."

I slightly frowned as those words crushed my enthusiasm. "Wait...that can't be right..."

Puzzled I rubbed the bridge of my nose.Sakura gave me a confused look that morphed into worry.

"..Sasuke...you do know what day it is right?"

*Shrug* "Tuesday...??"

"Today is Friday...are you sure you're okay?"

I dodged her hand as she attempted to feel my forehead.

"Yeah. Well...the last thing I remember is being at Ichiraku's...then I woke up here."

I motioned with my hands as if to prove my point.Shock washed over me at the realized I wasted four days sleeping around.I heard a mumble but it was too quite to understand.

"Huh...What was that Sakura-chan?"

"Oh ..uhh...n-nothing.I need to get going and talk to Mrs. Tsunade about this." With a hurried wave she jogged in the direction of the Hokage's office.

I watched the fabric of her dress frantically flap around as she began to sprint.Scratching my head I closed the door to the empty house.

"..Weird."

Naruto P.O.V.

_After peins defeat_(Monday)

I sat with my hands folded under my chin admiring the knocked out Uchiha.

After seeing him still at Ichiraku's later on, I decided to bring him back to my apartment. I placed a jutsu on him to trap him in a comatose like state, but hopefully only for a few days.

I don't need him interfering with my plans.

For months I silently was at war on whether to abandon this cursed village. Now that Sasuke was out of the picture ,for now, I had to make my final decision.A weary sigh flowed from my mouth as I stood.

Now...

time to figure out how to keep Saukra from sticking her nose where it doesn't belong.Casting a glance back at the sleeping teme I locked and shut the rickety door.

Wandering around town with my hands buried in my pockets; I searched for the strawberry headed kunoichi.

I walked over to a weapons store and tried my best to stay out of the villagers line of sight. The sound of reverberating metal and hushed talking filled the room.An eerie glow emitted from the flames of the blacksmiths close by.I absently examined the collection of shimmering blades.

The way the metal is so perfectly crafted and balanced almost draws shinobi to them.Yet sometimes it feels like I am just a magnet for trouble...

It didn't take long before they recognized me but, much to my astonishment, I was allowed to stay.Huffing I turned away from the men.

Maybe they're finally seeing me as a person instead of that dumba$$.

Inside my mind-scape I heard a feral growl emit from the cage. With a chuckle I looked around still hoping to spot the girl.

I nearly jumped out of my skin when someone laid their hand on my shoulder. Whipping around, a stab of regret hit me in the chest looking into the eyes of my oldest friends.

I know what I have to do and why...I am just not sure I can.

Wearing the same cold and level-headed mask I turned to her.I can't help but feel I am betraying them even though I haven't done anything wrong...

            yet.

 "Oh...Hey Sakura." .

"Hey Naruto.Do you know where Sasuke took off to? He escaped through the stampede of fangirls before I could heal him." She stifled a giggle while gazing up at me.

"Don't worry.I took him to my apartment and fixed his injuries.Also...don't wait up on us either.Me and him are going to be uh.. training together for a few days." She looked slightly disappointed but nodded in understanding.

   "Well...I guess I'll leave you to...whatever you're here for...ahaha"

With an awkward wave she started marching in the opposite direction.

Though my expression was void of emotion..inside...my heart was racing and my mouth felt like it turned to led.I hate lying to people; especially the few that are close to me but..

it is a necessary risk in my plan.
