Mafiatale! Papyrus x Timid! Reader

A/N: This story has a bit of blood and violence in one scene, it is also long because I don't want to make another two parter and just keep the whole story in this one chapter.

You stood by a tree on the playground at school. It was a monster school with only a few humans. The other humans would bully you though. You would never interact with anyone. "Hello there!" Some one said. You looked up to see that skeleton boy. You back away a bit and held your hands to your chest. You looked down away from the little skeleton. "Are you ok?" He asked. You remained silent. "My names Papyrus, whats yours?" He asked. Why was this monster being so nice. You decided to give him a small chance. "I..I'm, (y..y/n)." You relpy meekly. "Do you want to play with me?" Papyrus asked holding up an light red ball. "W..why a..a..are you b..being so nice t..to me?" You asked. "Why wouldn't I be nice? I saw you don't have any friends so, I would gladly be your first friend!" Papyrus says. You looked up at him, a gleam of happiness shone in your (e/c) eyes. "O..ok! Th..thank you! I w..will be your f..friend a..as well Papy!" You say giving a smile, one that you hadn't had in a long while. Papyrus loved how you called him Papy.

During your days at school Papyrus was and continued to be, your friend. He would make the bullies leave you alone. The part you liked so much about him is that he would never fight. All through elementary, Jr.. High, and high school, he stuck by your side. But, the day you both graduated, you had went your separate ways because you both had to move. 

You sat at a small diner with a cup of (fav/drnk), thinking about Papyrus. It's been five years since you last saw him. You never gained any other friends since he left, only about two acquaintances. You had to be extra careful these days though. A large and strong mafia has been hanging around town. Though this has been going on for about four years now. You hadn't seen many, other than maybe one or two members around when you were walking back from a restaurant at night.

You were went back home and laid down in bed thinking about Papyrus. You knew he had a brother named Sans. At first Sans scared you because he kept giving you a judgmental look and saying, 'you better not hurt my brother or your gonna have a bad time.' That had scared you a lot but once Sans realized you were harmless to his brother he apologized and became an acquaintance of yours but you hadn't seen him in five years either. You heard a gunshot outside but it sounded far away. You locked your door and slipped under the covers hoping they wouldn't be to close by, who ever they were.

The next day you went out to go to the park and just enjoy the view. You wore a beautiful simple white sundress and a small, pastel (f/c) pea coat. You had also curled your (h/c) hair slightly. You walked around the park seeing more monsters than humans. There weren't many in this city which made you feel slighty uncomfortable. You sat on the bench and looked out at the park. You watched a group of kids play and remembered a time with you and Papy. 

"Come on (y/n)!" Papyrus said climbing a tree in the park. "I..I don't k..know Papy." You said. "Come on, it will be fun!"  Papyrus said happily extending a hand down to help you. You nodded and started to climb the tree with Papyrus's help. You both were able to sit on a branch. "I knew you could do it (y/n)!" Papyrus cheered. "Thanks Papy!" You said. "H..hey! Look! Th..there's a butterfly on that f..flower just below us!" You point to a beautiful blue butterfly. "Ooo! I wanna catch it!" Papyrus said easily climbing down the tree. "U..uh, Papy, I..I c..c..can't get down." You say. Papyrus holds out his arms. "I'll  catch you! Just jump!" He says. You slowly scoot and jump off. You land in Papyrus's arms but he then stumbled a bit and you both fell over and landed on the ground next to each other. "Nyehehehe, sorry!" Papyrus said. You giggled. "It's ok Papy! Hey look, the b..butterfly is flying!" You say and both look at it as it flys around you both then away and off to the sky. 

You snap out of it and realized you had been sitting there all day. He sun was set and it was dark. You get up and begin to head back home. As you walk past an alley way you notice a tall figure turn the corner in the alley way. What had caught your attention was the fact that it looked like a skeleton. You were going to walk away but your curiosity got the best of you because you heard a voice similar to Papyrus's, very similar. You walked down the alley way and fallowed the tall figure when he had turned another corner you saw the side of his face. It was Papy, or at least very similar to Papy. You continued to fallow and speed up wanting to see your best friend again. You heard some tussling like someone was fighting. You turn the corner. "Papyr. . ." 

What you saw next was horrifying. Papyrus was fighting another man, a human man. Papyrus picked him up by the shirt and slammed him to the ground. Papyrus took the long, large, sharp bone in his hand and sent it crashing down on the man. He hit him so hard you could hear stuff crack and the mans blood splattered a bit and died quickly. Papyrus was even wearing what the mafia gang members would wear. You looked on horrified. Papyrus then looked up and saw you. "(Y..Y/N)!?" He looked shocked. Papyrus took a step closer but you stepped back. Your best friend who had stuck with you and comforted you, and would never hurt a fly, had just killed a human man.

You backed away more. "(Y/N)! IT'S NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE!" You shook and stepped back again. "I..I won't hurt you!" Papyrus said getting closer to you. You shook your head and turned to run. You sped away as fast as your legs could carry you. You could hear him chase after you. He was catching up, you could hear him calling for you to. You couldn't take it anymore. The stress was to much for you to handle. Your leaned against an alley way wall and your legs gave out. You hudled up and cried. The images  flashed in your head and it was horrible. Papyrus caught up to you and dropped to his knees by you making the bone disappear. He saw your crying shaking form. "(Y/n)..." He said and tried to put a hand on your shoulder but you flinched and whimpered. "P..p..p..le..leas..ease d..d..o..ont..t. H..hur..hurt m..m..me." You said meekly. Papyrus was saddened by this. "I promise I'm not gonna hurt you." He said. You peeked up to look at him. His face showed complete guilt and concern.

"P..papy w..w..why?" You whispered. Papyrus couldn't take it. He gather you in his arms hugging you tightly. You cried and clutched onto his shirt. Wanting this to all be a bad dream. Papyrus held you close trying to calm you down. You had ended up falling alseep because the stress took so much out of you at once. Papyrus looked down at your now sleeping form. Your face was streaked with tears. Papyrus wiped them away and picked you up. He made his way back to the mafia head quarters with you in his arms.

You woke up in a different room. It was a bed room with dark orange covers and white pillows. You were wearing what you wore last night but your pea coat was on a chair across the room. You were slightly scared, not knowing where you were. The door suddenly opened and you saw Papyrus walk in. He walked over and sat next to you on the bed. You didn't look at him. "(Y/n), will you let me explain?" He asked. You said nothing. He sighed and began to tell you about that man last night. He explained all the horrible things that man had done and how it was his job being part of the mafia to destroy him. You understood a bit but still thought it was wrong. "W..why w..would you j..join a m..m..mafia in the f..first p..place?" You asked softly your voice wavering a bit. 

"My brother had got in it because the people we are going against were harassing our family." He said. "I..I j..j..just couldn't e..e..v..ever have i..ima..imagined y..y..y..o..ou d..d..doing th..this." You started to get choked up and tears spilt from your eyes. Papyrus pulled you to him. "I know, I wish you had never saw that. It was an awful scene. I am very sorry (y/n)." Papyrus said stroking your hair gently. "Will you forgive me?" He asked. You were silent for a moment. "I..I'm n..n..ot sure i..if I c..can just y..yet." You say. "Thats ok, I just hope you will, even if it's not now." Papyrus said. "But, there is one thing I hope you will accept now." 

Papyrus said lifting your chin to face him. "W..what d..do you m..m..mean?" You ask. "(Y/n), I love you." He says. You look at him shocked but then soften your gaze. "P..Papyrus, I l..love you too." You say. Papyrus smiles softly and presses his teeth against your lips in a soft kiss. Both of you were happy in that moment. You both pulled away. "Papy, can you promise me s..something?" You ask. "Anything." He says. "P..Please, d..don't k..kill anyone a..again." You say. Papyrus smiled. "Of course my sweet (y/n)." He says and hugs you tightly. You smile gently. You had gotten your old Papyrus back.
