If I Were a Shoe

If I were a shoe,

You’ll criticize me if I’ll fit on your foot,

And If I did, you’ll be happy to get me,

So new and fits you perfectly,

By then, we’ll be together every day,

I’ll keep you comfortable, keep you okay,

And if you tripped down on something hard,

I’ll surely protect you, even If I’ll be hurt so bad,

 Through sunny or rainy days,

We may pass to different trails,

I know, I’ll soon be ragged and dirty,

 Like from the start,

Again,

You’ll criticize me,

 Poor old ragged shoe,

Will soon be replaced by something new.
