If I were a Raindrop

If I were a Raindrop

If I were a raindrop,

I'll have a long trip from the sky to the ground,

I might land on a leaf of a tree,

Or make my way to the butt of a bee,

Maybe I'll fall on your umbrella,

Then slide down to the boots of your fella,

With a splash I'll travel from his boots to the pavement,

Then voyage to the longest lake with excitement,

I'll meet the lake creatures and say hi,

And rest on a rock if I get tired,

But when the sun is up, my trip is over,

I'll be going back to the sky and stay there,

But soon enough,I'll be coming back,

When the rain starts to pour down,

I'll be just another raindrop.
