The floor boards creak as I rock back and forth in this old worn down rocking chair.

I have six pieces of orange origami paper in my lap. I fold and fold them until I make my master piece.

It's an orange origami Kusudama flower. Even after all these years, I still can't make them as good as he did. I smile at all the memories this small little flower holds; the good and bad.

"Mommy! Mommy!" My four year old daughter yells, jumping in my lap, destroying the paper flower.

Even though I knew it was an accident, I can't help the tear that fell down my face.

"Mommy... I sorry. I fix it." She says with a cute, hopeful little smile on her face.

She picks up the crumpled paper and tries to smooth it all out. Once she was satisfied with the minimal amount of wrinkles left, she starts to fold it meticulously.

But she soon realises it was harder then it looked, but my baby keeps tying. It gets to the point were she rips the paper.

That's when the tears stared. Big crocodile tears fall down her face one after another before either dissolving into her pores or plummeting to their end off her face.

"I sorry Mommy I.. I- I can't do it." Minnie softly sobs.

"Shhh- shhh. No, Minnie its OK mommy's not mad at you" I say, softly rocking her against me back in forth.

"Then why you cry?" She hiccups

"Memories." I answer simply.

"Mommy?" She asks tiredly rubbing her eyes.

"Hum?" I ask, holding her against me, rocking.

"Will you tell me the story about the prince who saved the princess?" She whispers.

"Well... Once upon a time there was this princess and prince who loved each other very much. But one thing would stand in their path that would have them questioning their love for each other...."

I pick up more origami paper and start folding as I tell my story....
