Journal entry one

Hakuna Matata

January 1, 2017

My seemingly normal life took a turn for the worse about 3 years ago when I found out that I was a gifted magician, I'd mastered slight of hand by age 14 and 3 years ago at age 18 I realized that I could easily misdirect someone. And I thought it was time to test it out.

The way I did it wasn't very smart.

I walked up to the president of the United States at that time and shook his hand. The room smelled like the body odor of 45 men and women, which coincidentally, it was. while we were talking about how much he loved my magic shows that I put on I unclipped his watch with my other hand that was gripping his wrist and slipped it into my pocket. The next think I did was take his wallet from his back pocket and traded it with mine, Which held 23 dollars and a Starbucks card with 17 cents left on it. As I moved along talking to everyone for the next 45 minutes, I slowly took the wallet of the most important people in the room. The last wallet to take was the one of a broad shouldered secret service agent named Mike. As I created small talk with the president, I slipped Mikes wallet out of his front pocket. As the president finished his last sentence, I looked at my phone and furrowed my brow like something was wrong. "I'm very sorry there's a family emergency I have to leave." I saw someone walk up to mike and whisper him something, as I saw him check his pockets I bolted out of the door just in time to hear Mike shout something inaudible. I was immediately tackled to the ground by 3 men. One of the guards grabbed me by the jacket and took it off. All the 6 wallets immediately fell onto the ground. One of the guards looked at me and said "we have a saying back in my country. Hii ni mithani, it means don't bite off more than you can chew."
And that's how I'm sitting here in a prison cell, they're letting me write but before I get these things published, they have to pass inspection. Basically they have to check to make sure I'm not trying to break out. Anyways, this is one in a long line of journal entries I am going to publish. And I hope you're ready

The next part will be a third person view of what is happening to our protagonist. And if you want to learn more about the main story, you must read the journal entries and decipher the codes. Eventually the journals and main story will make sense together, in the mean time... Try to figure out what this code is
