Drama Script

This is from last year we had to twist a fairytale, so me and my group kinda fused two plays, I was the robot/tin can in the play. Hopefully you're bothered to read this cos its pretty good. We wrote it ourselves.

The Wonderful Land of OZ

Were off to find the Glinda, the Wonderful Witch of OZ!!!

Setting-Narrator- Long ago deep and dark in a place out of nowhere there lived a girl called dorothy her hair was a goldish-blonde with a beautiful crisp in her lovely sweet voice. Well dorothy you see was a very sweet looking girl but on the other hand there lived a wicked witch who had long black hair as dark as the night sky. Her face was as beautiful as a flower. She smelt like roses and was always in a happy mood as she always asked the mirror who was the prettiest of them all.until now...................

Witch- Mirror on the wall who is the prettiest of them all.

Mirror- My queen, I'm sorry to say that this is true but Dorothy is 1000 times prettier than you.

Witch- Who is this Dorothy, who can be prettier than me.

Mirror- My dear queen, Dorothy is a little girl who surpasses your beauty by a mile.

Witch-(Stomps foot)

Mirror-Do not worry you can get rid of her but you will need the help of a robot that will pretend to be on Dorothy's side but will always be with you. You will guide her and she will be all yours.

Witch- Oh yes, (casts a spell) Mirror mirror on the wall, turn into a robot that I control.

Robot- Yes master your wish is my command

Witch- Ok robot, let me test you if you will obey my every order. Robot get me a drink, coffee with 2 sugars (flicks hair in an awkward way)

Robot-Yes master your wish is my command. (Mumbles under his breath 'drama queen' )(The robot walks into the kitchen and makes the coffee and serves it to the witch.)

Witch- (tosses cup uncaringly towards the robot) Well done, you passed the test. Now go find Dorothy and pretend to be one of her friends, the Tin Man. Lead her here and finish her. Ha ha ha (evil cackles)

Robot- yes Master your every wish is my command.

End scene

Dorothy-Oh oh how could this be, I am stuck in this place where I have no idea what's going on. This is very terrible, oh Toto what do we do? We were looking for Glinda but suddenly we find ourselves in this palace. What have i done to deserve this?

Narrator- Then Dorothy and Toto met up with Scarecrow and Tin Man (who is the robot acting as the Tin Man)

Scarecrow-I have lost my brain and I can't seem to find it.

Tin Man- Well Dorothy as you can see I have lost something very precious and i am very eager to find it.

Dorothy-Well what is it?

Tin Man- Well its actually a golden necklace that has the amulet on it to conquer....(thinking what the witch had said) I mean save the world from its dangerous environment.
