(Kyami's pov)
Playing volleyball at the beach today was admittedly exactly the kind of calm and at peace moment I needed after the newspaper incident.

Everyone had just seemed so tense about it after it happened, event our overly enthusiastic older brothers were tense about the subject, and everyone avoided newspapers like they were the black plauge.

Even as we walked through commoners markets, as soon as a newspaper or a magazine was spotted the conversation just took a turn for the worst.

At least in this moment, everyone is at peace, laughing and giggling and eating watermelon.

It reminds me of why we started the hostess club in the first place.

To mostly crush our brothers with our amazing ways, but also to make friends, and be happy.

Not to deal with all of the problems we've had to face.

At least through all of this our sales have only increased instead of dropped.

Which means that we are still beating our brothers.

Hopefully life just continues on this way from now on, shrouded in peace and giggles and happiness.

But I have a feeling the cruel world and its fate won't let everything stay this way for very long, if even at all.
So we'll just have to be extra prepared next time something happens.

I'll make sure we are.
