Once upon a time there was a princess with long hair
She would stand at the top of her tower and wondered what was out there
One day she caught a glimpse of a light
Hopeing and dreaming they would come out another night
But the floating lanterns only occur once a year
But suddenly a stranger came near
She was scared but hopeful that he could help her find the light
For he knew the world around her but was for some reason was at fright
She wondered for what cause but eventually found out
He was a criminal, a theif and didn't want to help her, no doubt
Eventually he came around to helping her to find the mysterious lights
Because the girl with long hair bribed him so she could see her wondrous kites
As they went on their journey they came to fall in love
But still frightful of the path that lies above
When the girl was captured he struggled to save her
Risking his own life but he knows it's because he loves her
But to save her, there was a traumatic cost
Her beautiful long blond hair, had to be cut, and was now lost
once it was cut, it turned Brown and cannot be grown
All though, once she sees that he saved her life, their true love was shown
Now being reunited with her parents because the lanterns were a signal to come back home
She is now the princess of the town, and no longer has to worry with a comb
Her prince is awaiting her at the church to get married
As she walks down the Isle with her beautiful gown being carried
She is now so glad things are all over
And feels so lucky as if she were a 4 leaf clover
