Manny carefully walked over to the phone with a feeling in the pit of his stomach that could just almost resemble dread. With the will of a beaver, he quickly grappled the phone in his left hand and whispered with a little fear in his ever so leering voice, "Hel-lo?"

"Manny? This is Harry! I heard screaming from your direction, and I was trying to make sure that you are alright because I heard a voice abruptly cut off like someone had just slit his throat! I know that I left, but... you need to... hear... me out. If you ever... hurt... Robin or anyone... else, I will not... hesitate to disconnect you from my life altogether and from anyone that... would be in the path... of your mistakes. Now can I please... speak to Robin? I feel that something spiffy is happening."

U-u-uh, wellllllll Hary, I think he j-j-just left to the superstore... I MEAN SUPERMARKET!!! I can c-c-call you when he g-gets back. Bye!" Slamming the phone down he sprinted into the living room and jolted to a stop at the sight before him.

At the abrupt ending of his... chat with Manny, Harry gloomily turned around wondering what in the world was going on at his abandoned home that Manny... and maybe, more like hopefully, Robin also occupied. If he was still even breathing.

He would not let his be brought down to a tiny miniscule memory because of Manny. He tried his best to keep his dark secret from Manny, but it was time for him to know, or else he may end up just like his father (Roy). His father is not who he thinks he is. If Manny ever wondered what happened to his mother, one look at his father would answer his question.

He would end this insanity before it reached its worst depths, and before Manny could become someone that the world would fear.
