The New Beginning ( Don't Hug Me I'm Scared)

Loveland

As Manny stumbled through the portal, his eyes could not believe the sight before him. Loveland was not at all as he expected. He expected there to be rolling hills of green, flowers, and bright skies, but that was not at all what greeted him. In its place, were dead plants sticking out of the crusty dirt, dark polluted skies, and trees curving up into the sky as if frozen in place when trying to escape from a mysterious force.

Before he could be trapped here forever, Manny sprinted back to the portal, but when he tried to stick his hand back through it, his dumb fleshy bones collided with thin air. It was not transported back to his house.

"Well, well, well, dearie. You really thought I would be idiotic enough to keep the portal open? I am very disappointed, I expected more from you. Sweetkins," Shrignold chortled. "ready for dinner." The thing is, this remark was not appointed toward Manny. At that exact moment, a group of five people scattered across the dark hills. They were all men that looked worn down and rugged. Slashes lined their faces from obvious knife fights, and their clothes were torn and crinkled.

"Ready," a strong built, tall man, with a scare across his right eye growled.

Before Manny knew what hit him, Shrignold latched onto him. Manny latched out as best as he could, but it was no use. He was already tied up, and the men were upon him. A damp rag went into his mouth, and consciousness was swept out from under its feet once the world began spinning. His mind went blank.

OC and Harry crept over towards the portal, yet Harry was still unease due to the fact he did not know whether he was going to waltz right into a trap. OC was the brave one. She slowly slid her hand through the portal and as it vanished, they knew what they had to do. Harry and OC walked through the portal and were greeted by the dark and mysterious land of Loveland.

To Harry's dismay, he saw Manny's picture of his family on the ground. He had been here, and now he was gone.

"Something here feels...spiffy," Harry pronounced.

"You don't think...." OC queried.

"I think...it is so," Harry retorted. Manny is in trouble, and it was not because he ran away, but because someone had kidnapped him. They were going to take him to Michael.
