A Choice Without Regrets

"Run?" Manny asked with a quivering voice.

"Well do you have a better idea by any chance?" Shrignold proposed.

"N-no, I don't," Manny's face paled when he realized just exactly what he had to do and how it would affect his future. What would happen to his family, his friends, and most of all, Ratty. Eh, he could always take Ratty with him.

"Yoo-hoo, you still there, honey? I said to run. Go get packed before the cops arrive will ya? I really don't want to have to be a suspect for your murder of Robin," with that Shrignold strolled out of the room.

"I have to, for my family," with that Manny went into his room. When Manny walked into his room he grabbed all of his things and accidently knocked something over with a loud thump. He turned around and saw the picture of him, Harry, and... and Robin. He would better off leaving it behind, he didn't want conflicting memories to haunt him now would he?

With that being said, Manny walked into his living room to find Shrignold by a purple portal.

"Well, sweetie where did you think you were going? Follow me." With that he walked through the portal with Manny trailing in his footsteps.

Harry got over the hill and was able to see his house from where he stood. It looked as if it had been abandoned for a hundred years. The roofs were slanted, the walls covered in plants and grime. The last time he had seen the house like this was when... was when Shrignold came... for a visit. He had no doubt in his mind that he had been in his house, that was never a good sign.

He ran the rest of the distance to the house and burst through the door. "Manny? Manny where are you?"

"Harry? Is t-t-that you?" a little squeaky voice called out from inside the kitchen.

"Oc? One second I am coming!"

There in a cupboard sat Oc, the monochrome puppet. Oc, was first introduced to Harry on a rainy night when she had run away from her creator, and she had no place to stay. She was only five, and Harry became her, in a way, father figure-ish.

"What happened, Oc? Are you okay?"

"Y-yeah, b-b-but Manny and... and Robun were being tormented by a can, loaf of bread, and a steak guy. M-m-Manny ATE Robun! I hid in the cupboard to g-get away from him," Oc quivered.

"Where is Manny? Is he here?"

"No, I h-heard him go through something purple and it made a sucking sound. He was with the Mr. Butterfly."

"Crap, well, he must have been taken to the land of guilt, also known as Loveland. We need to find him!"

With that, Harry and Oc took off to the forest to find the secret portal to Loveland in Shrignold's house. He could trust Oc and she could trust him. They would find Manny even if it meant traveling to the world and back for him.
