Life After Death

After graduating in elementary, we, the mysterists, are now in the seventh grade! Mickaella said before our graduation that she will transfer to another school. While, Java and I will not even if I passed in the Philippine Science High School National Competitive Exam. PSHS is the most prestigious high school in the country in terms of academics. Only the best of the best study there because annually in October, they conduct a nationwide examination to determine the Top 240 passers who will study in the Main Campus. Aside from the Main Campus, it also has a branh in every region of the Philippines, but of course, the Main Campus is the best.

Guess what? I'm among those 240 passers and I'm 7th Place nationwide! But, I chose to stay at my present school. It was June 13, when I saw Mickaella is one of my classmates! She explained that she and her family chose to stay. We, the Mysterists Club, are still complete! But, Java is not among our classmates... So, we just conduct sessions in our own group chat.

Our adviser told us the seatplan and Mickaella and I are seatmates! We can now easily talk about mysteries! Our first topic this school year is about theories about life after death, which will be the topic of another series of stories written by a very special mysterist to me, myself! Check it out soon! Anyway, back to the story...

One theory says that we are just living in a computer simulation, being controlled by a player from another dimension. What if we are just characters in a village like The Sims and we're being controlled by other creatures?

Another theory says that we could all be dead and this reality we think is a just a replay of what happened in our life. Mickaella proved this with a theory. She said that the brain still works for 7 minutes after we die. Those 7 minutes are the time when we refresh all our memories in our past life. It's just 7 minutes, but for our brain, it lasts for years.

Another one says that there are multiple universes, where anything could happen. After we die in our present life, our consciousness just transfers to another universe, or what they call biocentrism.

A different theory says that reincarnation is possible. A psychologist experimented among children aged below five. A girl heard the name of a town she'd never heard of and never gone to. She told the psychologist that she remember herself there being drowned by her handicapped brother. The thing is she described the town and her "previous" family clearly. She can even recall the faces of her parents! Mickaella told me that her younger sister likes to draw houses when she was still a child. She always says that it is her house, when, in fact, her drawing doesn't look like their "present" house.

One theory says that we are just in the mind of a higher being. Mickaella wondered if this is possible, our brains could also be the reality of millions or maybe, billions of creatures!

What are the possibilities? What if one of these theories are true? Who knows when will human beings know the answer to this question?
