It was a normal old day at ops and the team was hard at work. they had just closed their most recent case and were about to go home for drinks.
"Who wants to join me I'm going to that new bar on 12th street anyone want to join? I'm paying." said Deeks.
"Well it's free drinks I'm coming!" said Kensi, "I'm going to go ask Eric and Nell if they want to come." she said while walking up to OPS.
"Guys come here quick!" Deeks yelled to Sam and Callen. "It's Kensi's birthday and this is all a birthday surprise want in on it? Eric, Nell and Kensi's mom are already there setting up."
"Well if you're all set up I'm in." said Sam
"Don't forget about me, anything for Kensi." said Callen, "What are we going to get her for her birthday though?"
"Okay here's the plan I'm going to drive Kensi around town pretending to not know where I'm going and you guys go sneak to the store to buy her a gift. Text me when you guys make it there and ill bring her over." said Deeks
"Okay let's roll" said Sam guiding Callen outside.
A few minutes later Kensi came running down from OPS.
"Nell and Eric already left I guess it's only you and me."
"Okay let's go" Deeks said walking Kensi to the car. "Hey could I drive PLEASEEEE!!!! Kensi!!!"
"I don't know earlier you almost ran my car into a flower shop." Kensi said unsure of letting Deeks drive.
"Hey it was hard to focus with the radio on so loud!"
"Okay fine but if you crash my car I'm going to kill you and make sure no one ever sees you again."
Kensi threatened.
