"I'm sorry they papers were already sent in and the case has been reopened."
"I'M. GOING. TO. KILL. YOU."
"Ms. Blye this behavior will not be tolerated!"
The men of one of the nations most top secret agencies traded glances after they staring up at their OPS center afraid, hearing their fiery female co-worker from upstairs, who was currently getting a scolding by their Assistant Director and Operations Manager.
"Should we go up and see what going on?" said Detective Marty Deeks who was determined to find out what was going on.
"Nope. Just wait this could get interesting and I don't have a death wish," the teams fearless leader G Callen said.
As if on cue Henrietta Lange, their boss, Assistant Director Granger, and the current green eyed monster, Kensi, came down from OPS.
"Miss Blye please explain to your co-workers what's going on," said Hetty nudging an angry Kensi foreword.
"You guys have a case," was all she said before running out of the bullpen.
He partner tried to go after her, but was blocked off by Hetty who gave him a death glare that scared him and the rest of the team. They were ushered up to OPS to get briefed.
When they arrived up at OPS Eric quickly turned away and started fidgeting with a pen. While Nell was trying to hide her tear soaked face. Then team realized this case was going to be a tough one.
"Mr. Beale put up the pictures." said Hetty ignoring the fact that Nell was crying.
Eric tapped his fingers on his tablet and up came a familiar woman's ID and over 25 pictures of a brutally abused, unconscious, bloody, beaten....
Kensi.
The world seemed to stop and the whole team had reacted differently. Deeks gasped and turned away from the screen. Nell let out a small sob and was quickly comforted by Eric. Callen stared in awe trying not to lash out on Hetty for giving them this case, and Sam closed his eyes and stared up at the ceiling saying a little prayer to make it through this case, and for Kensi that they would catch the SOB. Hetty and Assistant Director Granger watched the team knowing that this was a bad idea.
The silence was quickly broken by Hetty who began to fill them in on their latest case.
"This case if going to be har-" she started.
"Hard? More like Difficult or Impossible. This is family were talking about. Why give the case to us? Why not another team? You always tell us not to get too involved in a case and yet what do you throw at us? Kensi, our little sister, being abused to the point it looks like she's dead!?" Deeks screamed at the top of his lungs at Hetty who stood there in bewilderment.
