Haru POV

As I watch from the shadows hidden from those still present in the meeting room I watch their expressions, some had guilt in their eyes while others looked ashamed, I can't really understand why they would harm Naruto-sama because he's such a gentle, caring person who tries to make everyone happy and always makes sure the demon world is protected from the shinobi so why would they do that I thought completely confused "what have we done" the Hokage said the pink haired one scoffed "we didn't do anything, it's not our fault he's always been a coward" she replied smugly, I narrowed my eyes, there is one thing that most of the demons where I come from would start to attack someone and verbally attacking Naruto-sama is one of them.....which is why I showed myself

"I would be careful about who you speak badly about human" I hissed in anger "who do you think you are" she answered clearly thinking she's someone important, I smiled showing my sharp teeth "someone who can kill you within seconds" I commented leaking out some of my KI, I know it wont be long before Naruto-sama will appear "do you think you can take me on, I was specially trained by the Fifth Hokage" she announced proudly I scoffed at her arrogance "and I was trained by the Demon Lord himself, so who do you think will win....." I was cut off "that's enough Haru" I turned my head and saw our new lord "forgive me Naruto-sama, it's just I have a right to attack anyone who attacks you my Lord" I bowed a little knowing he hates when we do it properly

"What" "sama" "my Lord" I raised an eyebrow at the exclaims "you just had to call me that didn't you" he whispered slowly, knowing I was the only one who would hear him, I silently nodded "oh and since when was I a coward Haruno again if my memory is correct you often had to hid behind me or the Uchiha during missions because all you were interest in was sleeping with the Uchiha, I mean all I could say was like mother like daughter" he said emotionlessly I saw the girls face redden with anger "how dare you, you monster" she screeched, the other shinobi with her gasped in shock all Naruto-sama did was chuckle "oh Haruno if only you knew" he trailed off, her face turned to confusion "knew what" she asked warily, then they all saw the real Naruto-sama, his blonde hair stayed blonde but had blood red tips, his eyes turned into slits and the colour changed into a shade of purple (a mixture of his natural blue and Kurama's red eyes)and his teeth sharpened to be extremely sharp "how much of a monster I am" is all he said

Everyone watched has he went back to his human form "how are you able to do that" the Hokage stuttered and she continued to stare at him, he stared at her before replying "because I'm the new Demon Lord" everyone was in shock, I smirked watching their faces silently hoping that they have realised what they have lost and what an amazing shinobi Naruto-sama would of become if they gave him half of the attention the Uchiha got "how are you the new Demon Lord" the Hokage asked "because I'm the old Lord successor, that's why" Naruto-sama answered "no what I mean is how did you become it, did the old one die" she asked again walking closer "no he didn't, he's been watching me since I was born and said he would take my pain away......so he did" Naruto explained slowly like he was talking to a child all the while shrugging his shoulders like it wasn't a big deal which to him it wasn't

Hatake POV (He sneaked back in when Naruto and Gaara walked away)

I can't believe how much he's changed its like he's a different person, whoever the old Demon Lord was/is he obviously trained him because I don't see the knuckle head prankster anymore, I felt a stab of pain knowing that it was partially my fault, if only I gave him my time and trained him, to take care of him but I failed.......I didn't just fail him but I failed his father, I promised sensei that I would take care of his son but I didn't, instead I focused on Sasuke because the council wanted him to be the best, hell I even focused on Sakura more than I did Naruto, and that will always be my biggest regret I just hope seeing him now I get the chance to talk to him privately and explain myself an after that if he still hates me then that will be my own fault no-one else's, but then again would he even care about my reasons, and are they really that important now, even thinking back to that time, it wasn't like I didn't have any chances to change what I was doing because I often had chances to help him, I just always turned a blind eye to him and his sufferings
