*Ethan's P.O.V*
We left to get food and drinks at half time and when we sat back down they were talking about people birthdays that were today and who has gotten married today and that sort of stuff when they said "Can we get Ethan Payne and his friends on the pitch please." So we stood up and walked out on the pitch. I was so confused about what was going on.

They told us to stand in the middle of the pitch. We heard the odd one or two fans shouting our names. Simon had a weird look on his face. And then they said "Ethan we know that you have a girlfriend, well Cpl. (Y/N) (Y/S/N) to be exact in Iraq and was shot but is doing well." At this point there were tears clouding up in my eyes. He carried on saying "She made this video for you in her spare time."

I looked up at the big screen and I was a slideshow of all of our photos of us together and the song that she used was 'Photograph - Ed Sheeran' which was out favorite song together. I could feel tears rolling down my face.

When it got to the bit where the song repeatedly says "Coming home" (If you know the song then hopefully you know what I am on about) There was a massive sign on the screen that said 'TURN AROUND!' As soon I turned around I saw (Y/N) standing there with her arm around her waist. Both of us just stood there not knowing what to do. But I finally started running towards her and she was running but with a limp. As soon as I got to her I picked her up and she wrapped her legs around me and was crying so hard in my neck.

She looked so smart in her uniform. With (Y/N) still in my arms I walked towards the rest of the Sidemen and the stadium were on their feet clapping and cheering (even the away fans) when we got to the centre of the pitch I pulled my head away and kissed her lightly on the lips. She broke away and planted a kiss on my forehead which made me giggle.

Ethan put me down and I held his hand. I really didn't want to let go.

We got to sit where the managers sit. When all the players came out they invited me and Ethan on the pitch. And we have 2 minutes of silence for all the fallen. I saluted for the whole of the 2 minutes it didn't matter how much my arm ached. When we were all silent in my head I was replaying all of the sight I saw on the battlefield and all of the soldiers I saw shot in cold blood. There were so many tears rolling down my cheek but I kept on saluting and I could feel the cameras on my face and Ethan's eyes.

After the 2 minutes everyone clapped and me, Ethan and all of the players took a lap around the pitch I was at the front feeling proud of the uniform I was wearing but I could see on my trousers faint blood stains of the enemies I killed as well.

After the lap of the pitch they told me to do a lap on my own. But I had Ethan by my side holding my hand the whole way. When I got to the away fans section I waved and they cheered back at me and I saw an old man at the front he looked like he had been in a few wars and I jumped the boards and went up to him. I shook his hand and he told me he fought in WW2 so I stood back and saluted him and he saluted back.

There was loads of little kids saluting me and I saluted back and then a little boy asked for my autograph I just stood there shocked because I had never been asked that question EVER! He gave me a bit if his West Ham shirt it sign so I did.
