Two months later
The twins decided it was a good thing to start squeezing the hell out of Thor's bladder and kicking him really hard. Right now he just came into the lounge after peeing for the tenth time this morning. Tony, Steve and Bruce were all sitting on the couches watching the girls play with James.
"Hey Thor, twins still playing up?" Bruce asked him. Thor huffed and sat down with the help of Tony. "Yes they are Bruce, I just peed for the tenth time this morning because these boys think my bladders a fucking squeeze toy" he whines and rubs his aching bump. Steve pats his shoulder sympathetically "not long now Thor, two months and you'll have the boys here" he comforted. Thor smiled weakly "thank you Steve" his smile turned to a wince "please stop that boys, you're hurting Daddy". James got up and walked to him. "Uncie Thor are wou otay?" James asked him cutely. Thor sighed and gently massaged the side of his seven month pregnant belly "no Jamie, you're cousins are hurting uncle Thor".
James pouted and climbed onto the couch next to him with the help of Tony. He layed both his hands on the side of this bump and placed a kiss on the space between them "pwease don't huwrt uncie Thor" he cooed. Both the twins pushed a hand against him as sign off apologie "thank wou". Thor gave him a kiss on the head and said thank you, letting him go play again. "That was too cute, you alright now?" Bruce asked. Thor shrugged "they've calmed down a little, but don't worry Jamie, I don't want him getting upset, he was like that with Clint" Thor sighed. Suddenly he sat up straight and grabbed his stomach "ouch". Steve, Tony and Bruce all jumped up to see what's wrong with him. Thor jumped again "ow ouch" Bruce knelt infront of him "are you okay Thor?, what hurts?".
Thor brought Bruce's hands to his lower abdomen "ow, what's going on?". Bruce applied gentle pressure and hummed "it's just braxton hix, don't worry, it'll pass, if you're in labour, we'll know" Bruce explained. Thor let out an exaggerated sigh and slouched back down "do you think I'll be a good father?" He asked them, tears clouding his vision. Steve sat down next to him and put an arm round his shoulders "of course you'll be a good father" he comforts and lays a hand on Thor's protruding bump "these twins have the best father they could ask for, someone who can love, care for and protect them, you my good friend, can do all these things, the boys are very lucky to have and Jane as their parents".
Thor whispered a thank you and suddenly felt tired. He yawned and rested his head on the soldiers shoulder. Steve smiled at the sleeping God, stopping the others when they went to move him "leave him be, I'll stay here till he wakes up" he whispers and gently sits back, putting a blanket over Thor.
Jane came in and smiled at the sight before her. Thor was sound asleep, curled up against the super soldier who was keeping him calm while he slept. "Awww, he's so cute when he's sleeping" Jane whispered and moved the hair out of the sleeping Gods face "my little thunder God". "I'm not little" Thor mumbled and opened his eyes "oh, hey honey, sorry I woke you, and you are my little thunder God" Jane cooed and gave him a kiss on the forehead. Thor pouted and pointed to his lips "you missed". Jane giggled and pecked his lips before lifting up his shirt, putting her hands either side of the bump and placing a kiss where the twins have made their home "I hope you're behaving in there". One of the twins kicked and the other pressed his foot up against his mother's hand "good boys".
Steve moved to the other side of the couch to allow Jane to sit with her boyfriend "sleep well honey?". Thor snuggled into her side "mmhmm, can you help me up?, I gotta go peepee" he asked. Jane giggled "sure honey, go peepee". Thor started to get up while Jane helped him the rest of the way by gently pushing his butt up. Once up, Thor waddled to the bathroom and called back out to her "um, Jane!". She giggled again "need help!?" "Yes"
"Coming honey". Jane got up and went to the bathroom to help the God in distress.
Layla got up and went to Tony, tugging on his shirt. "Hey pumpkin, what's up?" He asked and picked the young girl up. "Will you and Daddy talk to the special birdy that brings baby's to mommy's and daddy's cebause we want a baby sistwa or brota?" She asked innocently. Tony blushed and didn't know how to awnser that so Steve took her "layla honey, you want another sibling?" "Ya" "well then me and papa will talk to the birdy, okay"
"Kay Kay" and he let her down.
Tony wrapped his arms around Steve's waist "so apparently we're trying again, well then your carrying this one, my body is not I repeat, not going through that again". Steve chuckled at his lovers comment "hehehehehe, you are adorable, y'know that baby" "yes I am".
Thor and Jane came back, but Thor was in tears. Once they were in the lounge, Jane wrapped him in a hug "it's alright boo". Steve went over to them "hey, is everything okay?". Thor leaned down and buried his head in the crook of Jane's neck "he's just upset because he can't do anything by himself and he thinks he's just a burden, which he's not, we're looking after you because we're a team and I love you and your having our twins" she cooed. Thor hummed and clung to Jane "boo, you need to let go off me so we can sit down" "nu'uh" "yu'hu, now let go".
Thor pouted and let go. Once have was sat down she opened her arms and smiled "c'mere baby". Thor, who was still pouting, walked over and layed across her lap. "C'mon baby, gimmi a smile, you know you want to" Jane cooed. Thor refused to smile and buried his face on his hands. "Thor, I'm thinking of a song..." She started. Thor's eyes widened and Jane held his hands so he couldn't cover his ears with them "no no no no". Jane began singing "Start spreading the news...I'm leaving today" "no no stop" "I want to be a part of it...come on, you know the words, two tinsie little words". Thor sighed "new York" but cracked a smile. "Hey, there's that smile, I love that smile" Jane beamed and kissed the tip of his nose "cutie pie".
