The Match (rove)

Diner

Ryan's POV

Doves asleep in the backseat, we've been driving for a few hours now and we're nearly at the border, Alex is driving while I'm in the front seat

"What's your plans if we get out alive" Alex asks, as he drives

"Well I have an apartment in LA so go there I guess it's 2 bedroom place you can stay with us" I say he just nods

"You think she'll stay with you?" He asks referring to dove

"Yeah I think she will" I say "I hope" I add

"She's a really nice person" he says I nod and turn in my seat doves head was rested on the window, I turned back

"Let's stop and get food before we hit the border" I say he nods

"We should be close to a town, I'll stop there" he says and I nod, we continued driving for 20 minutes before we got to a town,  Alex pulled over near a diner I got out as did he, I stretched before opening the back door and gently shaking dove

"Babe wake up were going to get something to eat" I say she opens her eyes before taking her seat belt off "hear" I say grabbing the collar off of the other seat, I put it around her neck before helping her out

"Sleepy beauty is awake" Alex says as I shut the door

"Shut up Alex" she grumbles I laugh, she's not nice when she first wakes up

"Okay you two I'm starving" I say and pull dove into the diner she tiredly sat down in the both I sat beside her as Alex sat across from us, dove put her head on my shoulder

"You gotta stay awake" Alex said to her I smiled

"No I don't" she mumbles I smile and pick up the menu as does Alex

"What do you want baby?" I ask her head still on my shoulder. Her eyes closed

"whatever" she mumbles, I shake my head and look at the menu again

"Chicken burger?" I ask she didn't answer

"I think she's asleep" Alex said and laughed, I smiled and used my hand to shake dove

"What?" She asks

"Chicken burger?" I ask

"With hot chips" she mumbles I laugh a little

"I'll go order" Alex says I nodded and hand him the menus and tell him I'll have the same as dove, there was a male behind the counter of cause, Alex came back and we talked whole dove kept her head on my shoulder, her eyes closed, the guy brought our meals over, it's only 5:30pm but this would be dinner

"Dove" I say shaking her, she sat up and looked at me half asleep

"Yes?" She asks I point to the plate in front of her "oh" she says yawning

"You slept all day how can you still be tied" Alex asks as we eat

"I don't know" she says as she starts eating, I just smile
