Ryan's POV

"Happy birthday baby" I say as I sit on the bed beside dove, she slowly opens her eyes

"Morning" she mumbles, I smile as I look down at her I'm only sitting but she's still laying

"Happy birthday" I say again, she smiled at me "17 you fell old?" I ask she laughs and sits up. Dove and I have been hear for a while now and things are going really good for us. Alex lives with us and has actually met a girl she's really nice

"Yeah at least I'm not as old as you" she says I fake a hurt look

"I am not old" I say she laughs and I get up I walk over to the draw and opened it I got out the present and walked back over sitting in front of her, I handed it to her and she smiled as she took it, I was worried she won't like it, she un wraps it and opens the small box and looks at the engagement ring. I know we will have to wait till she's 18 sense things are different hear but I don't care

"It's beautiful" she says looking at it she obviously doesn't know it's and engagement ring, I take her left hand in mine she gives me the ring and I slip it on her engagement finger that's when she looks at me wide eyed

"Chloe you are the most amazing, talented, beautiful, the list could go on and on I love you so much, more then anyone else. Your my light. my angel and I love you so much I never want to live with out you. I want to wake up beside you for the rest of my life I want you to be my best friend, the love of my life. will you do me the honer and make me the happiest person in the world. The luckiest and marry me?" I ask really nervously, she looks at me for a second her mouth open a gap then she starts crying. Why is she crying?  "It's okay we don't have to get married" I say trying to stop her from crying, she shakes her head

"No of cause I want to marry you" she says wrapping her arms around my neck. I'm so confused

"Why are you crying?" I ask as I hug her

"I'm just really happy" she whispers as she pulls away she looks at the heart on my wrist before bringing her hand up to it and tracing it "at least the matching system got one things right" She says I nod

"Yeah they did" I say looking at the heart on her wrist, she uses her hand to bring my face to look at her before she kisses me, after a bit we pull away "I actually got you a present other then proposing" I say getting up

"What?" She asks smiling, I take her hand and pulled her out of bed and to the kitchen Alex was making breakfast

"Happy birthday" he says dove thanks him "hear birthday breakfast" he says putting a plate in front of her as she sits down, it was pancakes with syrup and ice cream her favourite

"oh my god Alex your the best" dove says

"Hey I just proposed I should be the best" I says she giggles

"You did it?" Alex asks I nod "you said yes?" He asked her dove nodded

"Yep" I say

"Congrats" he said looking shocked

"What?" Dove asked

"Nothing if he starts going crazy call me" he says dove laughs and I roll my eyes

"Call you. You live hear" I say taking some of doves pancake I laughed when she glared at me

"Yeah I'm moving out" he says dove looks away from me and at him I look at him to

"What?" Dove asks sounding upset

"Well if your getting married you won't want me hanging around" he says

"We never said that" I say

"Married couples need space its fine" he said

"No Alex this is your home as well" dove says

"Guys I'm moving in with Tia" Alex said, Tia's the girlfriend

"Oh" dove says clearly upset "I'm happy for you" she adds

"Yeah" I say even tho I'm going to miss my best friend hear, but I'm glade him and Tia are going good

"You sure" he asked looking in between us

"Yep. You want your other present chlo" I ask she just nodded I walked over and grabbed the box off of the counter and gave it to her, she opened it, it was a diamond necklace with matching earrings

"Wow" she says

"It took him 500 years to pick them" Alex said I rolled my eyes but smiled

"Like it?" I ask

"There beautiful Ryan" she says not taking her eyes off of them "by the way tonight you promised that tonight you and I" she says 

"Promised what?" Alex asked

"You remember that?" I ask looking at dove

"Yes, besides we are engaged now" she says

"Oh I get it" Alex says as dove takes a bite of her pancakes and smiles

"You promised" dove said, in between eating.

"Okay" I say she smiles and I kissed her forehead as she ate

"Happy birthday baby" I whispered to her
