Why didnt you tell me

Ada's now 13

Doves POV

I was in the kitchen making lunch when Ryan came in

"Where's Ada?" He asked. Something was wrong I could tell

"Umm she's out with Ben" I say. Ben is Alex and Tia son he's a year younger then Ada but they're really good friends

"Fuck" he swore and picked up his phone. What is happening?

"Ryan she goes to the park with Ben all the time" I say

"Chloe I just got a call from my father they want Ada" he said bringing the phone up to his ear

"They can't take her so why are you worried?" I asked

"Because Ada's not safe like we are and her match knows who she is there coming to get her!" He yelled.

"Why didn't you tell me she's not safe!" I yelled panicking

"Ada where are you?" Ryan asks into the phone. Thank god we had just gotten Ada a phone. my breathing got quick and heavy
"Stay there do you understand me" Ryan says as he grabs his keys. He hangs up and goes out the door I follow and we get in the car Ryan speeds to the park not once saying a thing

"I can't believe you didn't tell me this" I say. He doesn't say anything "Ada's only 13 how olds her match meant to be?" I ask

"Must be 16" Ryan says not taking his eyes off of the road both hands griped on the steering wheel. I was pissed he kept this from me but right now we have to get Ada

Ada's POV 

"What was that about?" Ben asks I shrug

"Dads weird" I say he nods

"So's my dad" he says.

"Uncle Alex isn't weird" I say hitting his shoulder

"Yeah whatever" he says I smile "I'm gonna go home see ya Ada" he says

"Bye Ben" I say. I watch as he walks away I was sitting on a bench. I pulled my light brown hair up and put it in a hight pony tail. My hairs pretty long and it's hot I rested my elbows on my knees and my chin on my hands. What's dad worried about his time? I know about there old life they told me about it when I asked about the paper airplane tattoo behind my ear but mum said we are safe. But for some reason uncle Alex and dad taught me self defence. They said just incase something happens

"Hey" a voice says. I turn my head and a guy sits down beside me. He looked around 16 he's hair was black and went to just past his ears

"Um hey" I say. Mum and dad always said don't speak to strangers so I didn't want to say to much. I looked away from him but I could fell his eyes on me. Then a cloth went over my mouth.  I tried to push it away but there was no use everything went black
