(Recap::::El and Buck have been on another date Saturday but sunday was too busy for them to hang out. They had fun and have been texting each other almost non-stop. They are going to the dance together which is tonight and El has not yet found any clothes to wear, neither has Ryan)
I am woken up by the buzzing of my phone I grab it and answer hello not bothering to see who was calling. "Hello?" I say groggily.
"Gurrrl you better be ready to go in five minutes" I hear Ryan say through his phone. "What? Why? Its like 5 in the morning Ry." I say
"Well ready or not in 10 minutes I'm going to be at your house and we are going to spend the day shopping at the mall to find you something to wear to the Dance tonight!"
"Not possible today is monday we have school which doesn't start for another hour." I argue.
"Were you not paying attention to the announcements?? Our grade has the day off because the only day they could schedule the dance was today so we get today off to go shopping!!!"
I remember that hang up and mutter some not-so-nice words and drag myself out of bed and put on a light blue plain shirt and black shorts and into the bathroom. I don't have time to shower so I wash my face, brush my teeth, put on deodorant and try to do something with my messy curls.
I still look like a mess when I finish, but I look like less of a mess than before. I then grab two random not matching socks and my worn out sneakers. I plug in my phone seeing it has 60% (way to go genius) and grab some money. I put the money into my pockets and go tell my mother that we don't have school today and I'm hanging out with Matthew at the mall. She responds with a 'have fun, be safe, don't spend all your college funds'.
I see Ryan's red car outside and rush to my room to grab my phone that now has 65%, yay. I hop in the car and brace myself for the day.
