Falling For You (Jhope X Reader)

Movies and Ice cream

The rest of the day had went on with noticeable glares shot back and forth between the two boys. But you mentioned nothing of it. Both of them had earlier decided that you should stay with them longer, even after your several attempts to insist that you could stay at a hotel so you wouldn't be such a burden.
It had been really warm that evening and on the way back home you eyed an ice cream shop with Jimin beside you to take notice.
"(Y/n), would you like to get some ice cream before we go back?" He smiled.
Yes. "No that's okay. I didn't bring my wallet anyways." You shrugged.
"That's alright, I'll pay for you." Hoseok chimes in.
"No you don't have to do that. You've already done so much." You look down at the ground. Jimin intertwines his hand with yours and when you look up his reassuring smile brings one to your face as well.
"Come on, we're getting some." He led you into the shop with Hoseok close behind.
After ordering you all sat down at a corner table next to the window. The three of you made small talk and got to know each other a little more.
"Oh (y/n) you have a little something right there..." Hoseok points to his corner of his mouth and you reach up to your own and wipe.
"Did I get it?" You ask.
He laughs slightly before shaking his head. You tried again, "How about now?"
His smile grows as he leans across the table, napkin in hand and wipes the corner of your mouth ever so gently. "Got it." He says still leaning across the table only inches from your face. Jimin elbows his friend in the side and he sits back down holding his side still smiling.
"I think it's time to get going now." Jimin suggested, gesturing to the street lights coming to life outside.
"Sounds like a good idea." You stand and Hoseok goes to open the door for you and Jimin takes your hand again. The younger male looks back at sticks his tongue out. Hoseok glares at him and rushes up to you and takes your other hand in his and you couldn't help but to laugh at them for acting like children.
When you got back to their apartment you all took a seat on the couch.
"So what should we do now? Do you guys wanna watch movies?" You ask.
"Yeah sure. How about a scary movie?" Jimin looks at the older male and smirks.
You shrink into the couch a little bit before replying softly, "I kinda get scared easily."
"Aw it's ok (y/n). I'll be here to protect you." Hoseok says while wrapping his arms around your waist and pulling you in close making you blush.
Jimin laughed and shook his head. "You? Protect her? You'll probably get more scared than she will." He laughs again and you can feel Hoseok's arms become tighter around you as he doesn't answer. You hit Jimin's arm making him stop. He gets up from the couch and takes out a movie and puts it in, not telling you what it is. Then he turns off all the lights making it so that you can only see the dark shapes and figures around the room and the area in front of the television. You feel the couch dip down next to you signaling that Jimin's sat back down and he reaches out for your hand once again. The movie starts and you're already scared even though nothing has happened yet. Throughout the movie you jumped even if it was just a screen change. But you felt more comfortable knowing that you had Jimin and Hoseok there with you.
It's been over an hour into the movie and you had managed to fall asleep. Hoseok makes you falling asleep an excuse to leave the movie for a moment and picks you up bridal style and brings you into his room. He lays you down on his bed and leaves the door open as he returns to his spot on the sofa.
"Does she have to stay in your room every night?" Jimin crosses his arms.
"I thought she'd like it better in my room than yours. Besides who knows what you do in your bed." Hoseok retorted.
The black haired male gasped, "I don't do anything of the sort! What about the same for you?" He says rather loudly. Hoseok quickly shushes him and you walk out of the room rubbing your eyes. They both turn only to see your shadow and Hoseok screams. His scream scares you causes you to get on the ground and hug your knees. After the two boys recover they turn on the lights and Hoseok rushes over to you. He wraps his arms around you and picks you up and you wrap your arms around him and bury your face into his chest. Jimin sits next the two of you and brushes the hair out of your face.
"Did we wake you up? Hoseok whispers. You shake your head.
"Nightmare..." You reply quietly.
Hoseok stands with you still in his arms and brings you back to his room and lays you back down. You become quiet again and thinking you fell asleep he starts to leave.
You grab the back of his shirt. "Please don't go."
He sits back down with you on the bed and you lay your head in his lap.
She's so cute like this. He smiles to himself and lays down with you.
"So was that you who screamed like a little girl?" You asked tiredly looking into his dark eyes.
"Maybe." You could feel his body shake with a laugh. "I didn't mean to scare you."
You smiled and snuggled closer to him and he shyly snaked his arms around you. Now that he was closer you could hear his heart beating faster and faster. "It's okay." You liked this. His bare arms around you and his scent everywhere. It was nice. Comforting. And this is how the two of you fell asleep.
