Chapter 8

I woke up the next morning well I guess it was morning it was 11 so yeah then I remembered my "date" with Keith
"Oh shit I'm gonna be late" I yell to myself
I actually make it on time we met at a little cafe down the street from my house
"Hi"
"Hey"he says with is perfect smile
"So... "
"Yeah we should order"
"Yeah"
"Can I have water please" I say to the lady at the cafe
"Water?" you want water at cafe?"
"Yeah I'm weird I know"
"Yeah can I have a chocolate frappe"
"Of course sir it will be ready soon"
"Thank you" he says smiling at the girl she blushes I roll my eyes
They call our names five minutes later we get our drinks and sit at a table
"So... "I say very awkwardly
"Yeah... So how are you since the uh breakup?"
"Fine I'm fine"
I've never met someone as awkward as me until now he acted fine when I first met him maybe it's because we're alone
"We're very awkward"
"Yeah"I laugh
"There's the laugh"
"You're such a flirt"
"I'm not joking when i say you're beautiful"
"I um thank you?"
He laughs at me
"Do you want to go to the beach later"
"No that's where me and uh.."
"Oh well how about the public pool by my house I heard you're an actual mermaid "
"Yeah I love the water"
"Alright let's go "
"Im coming" I say grabbing my water and throwing it away
We get into the car and he drives me back to my place so I can change I run upstairs and get changed then run back downstairs I get in the car and Keith eyes me up and down
"Can I help you?"
"No"
"Can we go?"
"Yeah
We drive off and and I roll my eyes when we get there the first thing I do is jump in
"Wow your weren't kidding when you said you love the water"
"Yeah"I say before I go under shortly after I hear a splash and look over to see Keith in the water wow he looks cute with his shirt off then I relive he's swimming towards me
"Keith what are you do- "I say before he tackles me pushing me underwater
"Keith!"I Saying trying to catch my breath "why would you do that"
"Come on love I'm just playing"
"Yeah I kinda got that" I say walking away from him then turning back and tackling him I knock him off balance but he doesn't fall
"Woah you're stronger than I thought"
"Hey what's that supposed to mean"
"Nothing I knew you were strong but I didn't think you were that strong"
"Thanks" I say sarcastically
"Riley told me you can sing"
"That little"
"Can I hear you?"
"I mean do I have to?"
"Yes"
"Ugh fine" I sing for him and he has no expression on his face afterwords oh no this is why I don't sing in front of people
"That was good I guess"
"Thanks"
"I'm kidding that was amazing"
"Wait a second are you British"
"Yeah... You didn't notice before"
"No"
"Yeah me and Riley were born in England then Riley and I moved here a few years ago
Oh wow I guess I was too caught up in meeting you and listening to you I didn't notice"
We both laugh
"But back to you,you can really sing"
"Yeah I guess"
"Did Riley talk to you about Michael and his band"
"Yeah what's their band name she didn't tell me "
"5 seconds of summer"
"Wait what! She's dating Michael Clifford
"Yeah she didn't tell you"
"No I love 5sos so much I have all their music"
"Wow big fan aren't you"
"Heck yeah calum is so cute"
"He's really nice"
"Riley says she wants me to meet them I can't  believe I'm going to me 5sos!"
He laughs at me "you are adorable"
"Thanks" I say swimming to the other side of the pool he follows we swim and talk for a few more hours
"Wow look at the time we should probably go the Suns starting to set" he says swimming towards the stairs
"Oh yeah look at that"
"Shall we go your majesty"
"Yeah and don't ever call me your majesty again "
"Alright let's go princess"
"Keith"
"You said not to call you your majesty and I didn't"
"Whatever lets go" I say rolling my eyes
I get out of the water and a there's a breeze I'm freezing
"Are you cold?"
"No I'm good" I say shaking
"You're freezing here" he gives me his towel "you didn't bring a towel did you"
"No"
"Here you can keep mine"
"Thanks"
We get back to his place so he can change once he changed we drive back to my place
"Bye princess"
"Bye" I say rolling my eyes" and hey stop calling princess"
"No"
I turn around and he's already gone I walk back up to my apartment and I take out my diary yes I still have a diary don't judge me I haven't written in it in a while so I write about Keith and Riley and about my breakup. Brogan I miss him. I know I shouldn't though he cheated on me there's more fish in the sea like Keith but what if Keith has a girlfriend he didn't say anything about one just them I hear a knock at my door I open the door to see brogan
"Hey "
I try to close the door
"Woah woah" he stops it from closing
"What do you want brogan"
"I wanted to say sorry and I want another chance "
"You should've thought about that before you cheated on me "
"It was a mistake "
"Good bye brogan I was serious when I said I never want to see you again"
"But"
"No buts just leave"
"Fawn I love you "
"Go away now!"
"Fine but you're making a mistake"
"Sure I am "I say closing the door
I go back inside and and take out my song writing journal yes I also write songs I have been since I was ten I write down some lyrics and decide to call Emily. She doesn't answer I need to work on my career my acting career isn't going very well. I start think about going to schools I've always wanted to be  a cosmetologist. So I look online for cosmetology school around here I found one about 20 minutes away so I'm going back to school my mom will be so proud school starts in three weeks.
