Once you and Link made your way outside the castle, you couldn't believe what you saw. The fields were full of monsters, and countless soldiers had already been killed.

You felt a hand touch your shoulder, your face must have looked as scared as you felt, because you turned your head to see Link looking at you with reassuring eyes.

He gave you a nod, and soon you relaxed, nodding back.

After a few moments, You and Link looked ahead to see a horde of the creatures coming toward you both.

You looked at eachother one more time, and charged into the frey.

Link yelled occasionally as he and you sliced the monsters down one by one.

You soon heard the voice of a woman speak with a frustrated tone.

"Where did all these monsters come from?" You ran towards the voice a little to see that it was infact your general, Impa!

After a few moments of standing still in slight awe of seeing your general in person, a monster's shriek interrupted your thoughts, you jumped, slashing down at it as you landed.

You hit yourself in your mind, slightly embarrassed for letting your guard down.

Impa was looking toward what you remembered was called the West Field Keep, which unfortunately, was blocked by huge rocks.

"We can't get to Princess Zelda with those boulders in the way!" She spoke somewhat desperately.

You suddenly saw a three monsters heading toward Impa, schreeching their usual battle cry, one was on the right, one was on the left, and one was right in the center.

With your instinct to help, you charged toward them, you only managed to close enough to get the one on your side though.(The right)

But to your suprise, Link came out of what seemed like nowhere and slashed down at the left one giving you a determined look afterwards.

You grinned with a nod, but it soon faded when you saw the center one getting closer to Impa.

You were about to yell to her, but to you and Link's astonishment, Impa quickly turned and swung her large blade at it, sending it flying.

Impa looked somewhat suprised to see you and Link once she set her sword back in it's place.

"What's this? New recruits?" She questioned.

Link nodded and ran off, you decided to do the same and charged at another group of the creatures, leaving Impa to fend for herself once more.

"Who are these soldiers, anyway?" She asked herself shortly after.

"Someone! Help! I'm too little to fight monsters!" You heard a tiny yet very noticable voice cry. You looked at Link to see a fairy flying around him, the fairy quickly flew behind him though, Link looked aroung hoping to catch a glimpse at it again, but with another feeble, "Help!" from the small being, it flew towards him, and Link made a suprised look as it flew into his chest and vanished.

Your eyes widened at the sight that you had just witnessed, and ran towards Link to make sure he was alright.

You heard the tiny voice speaking to Link, "Thanks! I'm Proxi! And who are you?"

Things remained silent for a moment as you continued to get closer, while slashing down the small monsters that tried to get in your way in the process, until you heard the voice speak again.

"Link, huh? Unusual name! What's it mean? Where are you from? Nice sword!" You had never heard that many comments in one sentence before, and you had to shake your head slightly to get it out of your thoughts.

"Man of few words, huh? That's okay--I'll come along and do the talking!" You heard what you were guessing was, Proxi, spoke.

You were about to reach Link, but you stopped as you heard another voice speak, "Hold your ground, everyone! We are the only ones who can protect Hyrule!"

You heard Proxi yell out to the voice, "Keep fighting, Princess! We're coming to help!"

With that, Link went back to fighting the monsters.

You wondered if there was anything else you could do, but soon you saw the gate to the Abandoned Fort open, you decided to believe that Link was fine, and made your way to the fort instead.

But once you were there, you slightly wished you had gotten Link first.

A large fiery dragon appeared before you, it flew in the air for a moment, but soon a man in dragonlike armor descended.

He breathed out a puff of fire before standing, and his large staff burned with flames as he spun it left and right, once he finished, he slammed it into the ground with a loud growl, and the man roared ferociously as his body egnited shockwaves of fire, causing rubble to go flying in all directions.

You had to be honest, you were a bit scared, but you couldn't let this man see it. You stood in your fighting stance, ready to duel with the Dragon Knight.
