Lily quickly finished packing the last of her inventions into a metal suitcase, making sure that they wouldn't move during the trip.

She then grabbed the suitcase and brought it upstairs, setting it next to the black case that held the rest of her belongings.

"Ready?" Logan asked, walking back through the door after setting his bags in the trunk of their car.

"One second." Lily said, running back into the living room. She grabbed Blackberry, put her in her carrying case, and brought her back to the door. "There we go." She breathed.

Logan nodded and loaded the last of the bags into the car.

Lily set Blackberry in the back, climbed into the front seat, and buckled herself in. Logan then got in the car, put the keys in the ignition, and started the car.

As he pulled out of the driveway and started driving down the road, Lily turned around in her seat and got one last look at the house she had lived in for the past two years of her life.

She was heartbroken that Maddie left, and now leaving the house?

Even worse.

The whole six day trip was not as exciting as you would think.

After getting bored of looking out of the window, Lily grabbed one of her inventions and started working on it. She flipped a switch, and that resulted in a mini explosion.

Logan got pulled over for speeding, even though he was only 5 mph over! Logan payed, but only after an argument that included him flipping on the officer. Lily narrowly avoided the one man looking after her being arrested.

Blackberry got out of her cage somehow halfway through the trip. They didn't notice until she jumped on Logan's lap and almost got them into a car crash.

But other than that, not much happened.

Lily was sleeping when they finally got to Manhattan.

"Lily," Logan whispered, shaking her shoulder. "Wake up. We're here."

Lily yawned and slowly opened her eyes. But as soon as she saw the high-rising buildings, she shot straight up in her seat.

Lily and Logan were both so distracted by the buildings that they didn't see the approaching car.

They looked up when they heard the screeching of tires.

The front of the car had just started crumpling due to the impact when Lily remembered her power. She froze time and dragged Logan, Blackberry, their things, the people in the other car, their things, and everyone near the crash zone to safety, then unfroze time.

She was greeted by the sound of screaming. "Let's go!" She shouted to Logan as she pulled the handles to her suitcases out and started walking away from the crash site.

Logan followed suit, although a bit dazed. Blackberry jumped up onto one of his bags shortly after he started moving and curled up, thankful for the ride.

After walking for a long time, the two reached Central Park. They collapsed on one of the benches and stayed there for a while.

It was then that Lily noticed a familiar black and blue figure standing at the edge of a pond.

After a few minutes of inspecting from afar, she yelled "Noklar!" and raced towards the figure.

Noklar turned towards Lily, already preparing a portal. But when he saw his friend, his face lit up and he extinguished the portal immediately. "Lily!" He shouted as he sprinted to meet her halfway.

They finally reached each other and embraced tightly. "I missed you." They both whispered in each other's ears.

"Umm... who's this?" Logan asked as he caught up to the two friends.

"This is my friend Noklar Darkstrike." Lily explained.

"And how did you meet?" Logan questioned.

"Well..."

~~~~~~~~~~~~Flashback~~~~~~~~~~~
It was one of the only times Lily actually voluntarily went for a walk. She was deep in thought when a strange noise brought her back. It sounded like... yelling?
Lily looked up just in time to catch a glimpse of a figure before  something crashed into the tree next to her.
"WHAT THE FREAKING FUDGE IS THAT?!?!?!" She screamed as she jumped back.
"Ow." The figure groaned as it rolled over. Lily got a good look at it now.
It had pale blue skin with bright blue eyes. It's hair was a slightly brighter shade of blue, and it wore black and gold clothing. It also seemed to have... horns coming out of the side of it's head?
"Who are you?" Lily asked as the figure stood up. The alien, she decided, whipped its head up quickly, as if it had just realized she was standing there. After looking at her for a minute, it answered her question.
"My name is Noklar Darkstrike, son of Yugo, the king of the Eliatropes. And you are?"
"My name is Lily Everlast." Lily said.
The two talked for a bit, deciding to be friends. It turned out that Noklar was actually a couple months younger than Lily, and they had a lot in common.
Lily stayed out talking to Noklar for so long that night, Maddie had to come out and find her.
