You sat on the rooftop, legs dangling over the edge. Slowly they swung back and forth as you watched him scramble below you.
Mobius had inserted their first test subject into S.T.E.M. Oddly weak minded, Ruvik's borrowed insanity was already saturating their mind. You were getting an odd excitement out of their rambling and fear.
Is this how Ruvik always felt? This thought crossed your mind as you remembered that his insanity and hatred was now a part of you. You were now the cheap imitation of him Mobius had scrounged up from the mess Ruvik left behind.
The thought of the ruin and pain he left led you to another thought,
Sebastian.
Was he alive? Was he alright? Did Mobius have him hostage as well?
Suddenly an unknown feeling jolted through your mind. Your hands twitched and you leaped from the roof, landing right before the man. His eyes scanned you up and down. A wicked smirk grew on your face.
"Who are you?" He screamed firmly.
Slowly your hand extended before you and he tried to scramble away but before he could escape the Keeper was behind him, holding him in place. Firmly you pressed your palm to his forehead and he began to scream and writhe in the Keeper's arms. Blood began to trickle from his eyes and nose. Your smirk grew and you began to chuckle. The blood ran down your arm. Boils grew on his face and his eyes rolled into the back of his skull. His skin became a sickly grey and finally you released him.
When you did you regained yourself. What had you done? You looked at the haunted before you and the blood on your arm. Already you were losing yourself.
Why you? Why? Why had Ruvik chosen you? Slowly you crumbled to your knees and screamed but it slowly faded into a laugh. You were mad. Entirely insane. And things would only ever get worse. You had to get out before it was too late. You had to.
