Recollection

Back Home

I'm happy. I can finally leave the hospital with my parents. There was this guy who visited me days ago. He said his name was, Roffe Conrad.

*flash back*

"A special someone is gonna visit you today." -Mom

Mom said that with a big smile on her face.

"Uhmn, who mom?" -Me

"You'll see. Rof!" -Mom

"You sound like barking mom" -Me

I said and giggled.

A guy entered the room. And had a big smile on his face when his eyes landed on me. He approached me slowly still staring at me. I felt my heart beating fast. Who is this guy in my life?

"Gia, this is Roffe. Your current boyfriend. He visited you everyday when you were in a Coma this summer vacation. But, since you woke up on a school day. He wasn't able to come. But, now that he's available. Maybe, you two should spend a little time." -Mom

Mom smiled at us and left us without another word.

"So, you remember anything yet ma?" -Roffe

I was shocked with what he called me. I was shocked that I actually have a boyfriend.

"W-Well, p-pa. I haven't remembered anything." -Me

He took my hand and kissed it. I blushed hard.

"If only you could feel my lips on your hand everyday when I visited you this summer." -Roffe

He smiled with sad eyes. He must have missed me that much.

He suddenly hugs me. Which surprises me but, I hugged back tighter. I feel warm inside. It feels great in his arms. My heart must still remember my feelings towards him.

I giggled at that thought as he pulled away from the hug. I might be able to learn to love him again. I wish.

"Hey, I gotta go. You take care of yourself okay?" -Roffe

"Okay" -Me

I smiled brightly at him.

He leaned closer to my face. I blushed hard and closed my eyes.

He pecked a kiss on my forehead.

"Goodbye ma. I love you!" -Roffe

He said that as he went rushing out the hospital.

"I love you too." -Me

I mumbled to myself.

*flashback ends*

I'm finally home. Well, atleast this is where my father drove us to. A simple little house with white paint outside. We got out the car and mom unlocked the door.

As we stepped inside, there was a sofa in front with a tv in front of it. I guess we're in the living room.

"C'mon Gia. I'll show you your room." -Mom

She said that with a big smile on her face. We went upstairs and stepped in front of a door.

"THIS. Is your room" -Mom

She's really smiling wide now. What could have happened to my room a months and days of being gone.

I opened the door and stepped in slowly. I saw MY ROOM. Red wallpaper, and not just red wallpaper. It had flower designs on it. Rose, I mean rose. My room was small but, I felt contented with my room. There were anime posters posted close to my bed. My bed was comfy and soft. And there was a big Teddy Bear lying on my bed. I smiled. I felt like I know this teddy bear.

I held it out and stared at it for moments and I remembered something. My head was hurting. I touched my head and fell on the bed.
"Gia! GI----" -Mom

*flashback*

"HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!" -Me

I smiled brightly to Rof who was happy with my gift. I gave him a letter full of love. And a t-shirt he wanted at the mall. He was so happy he kept thanking me for after every 5 minutes.

We went to a store. There were full of valentine gifts there. Roses, Chocolates, Letters, TEDDY BEARS. My eyes widened when I saw a big white bear with a red shirt. I smiled. I want that. I looked to Rof. He was smiling at me.

"Guess you like that too." -Rof

"Wait, so you've been-- " -Me

He leaned close to my face.

"Yes, I've been searching for a gift for you."

He took the bear and paid it. And gave it to me as we got out of the store. I smiled so wide my cheeks were hurting.

Now, I was the one thanking him after every 5 minutes. He laughed at my reaction.

"I love you ma." -Rof

He stared at me in my eyes. I looked at him and giggled.

"I love you, too pa." -Me

*flashback ends*

"Gia! Gia!" -Mom

"H-Huh? M-mom? What just--" -Me

"Thank God your safe." -Mom

I looked around. I was, in the hospital again. In this hospital bed. White lights, white room.

"It seems she just fainted. Have you remembered anything?" -Doc

"Y-yes. Yes I have, doc" -Me
