Vunerable

"Really!" Deadpool shouted happily, his somber mood forgotten. He tightened his grip on Spiderman.

"Yes, really. Now, get off!" The hero grumbled and shoved the other man with his elbow that he managed to wriggle free. His hands were loosely held by the other man.

"No!" The merc replied, squeezing him even more and rubbing his masked cheek against Spideys' head. Peter just sighed and slumped in Deadpools' hold, resigned to his fate. He could easily break out, but he just grew a heart which dictated one thing - don't hurt Deadpool. It had to happen now of all moments. Brilliant. Absentmindedly Parker wondered when he grew so cynical. Eh. Whatever.

The wind blew once more, brushing over their forms. The scene was a weird one. Surreal almost. A broad shouldered mercenary was hugging him like some sort of plushie, looking like a kid that was told Christmas came early. He, as loath as he was to admit it, was the smaller one. Yes, he was much stronger, but one wouldn't know just by looking at him. If someone told him he would be in this unique relationship with Deadpool, where he would barely protest, he would call them crazy. Worse yet, imagine his teenage self facing such a dilemma. Oh, fun. Especially since that Peter didn't face his sexual crisis until much later. His younger self would never believe that he was bisexual. Er, where was he?

Suddenly, he got an idea. Snuggling closer, he hid his devious smirk. Deadpool stiffened. "Well, as much as I like cuddling, I think you might not see my face. You see, the longer you hold me, the longer you have to wait. Such a shame, all this trouble to see my face. You get this one chance and currently are on the verge of wasting it. Oh dear." Channeling his aunt May, he barely stopped himself from giggling like a schoolgirl.

And... Bingo! His plan worked. Deadpool released him like he was burning him. "I...um, forgot." The man who all but shoved him away. Peter stood up and rolled his shoulders.

"Aw, really? I guess you don't really want to see what's behind the mask." He paused for dramatic effect. Oh boy, as strange as this was, it was fun. Very fun. "If you intended to see my face, you wouldn't wait so long, now would you?" Yes, fun.

Yet the silence unsettled him. The merc was acting strange. Well, stranger than usually at least. He was so subdued, so silent. Deadpool and silence were two, opposite concepts, one a stranger to the other. This was beyond surreal. He was still sitting.

"Hey, is everything okay?" Peter Parker questioned, bewildered and concerned. Did something happen?

"I..." Deadpool began, sadness barely discernible in his voice. Peter frowned. Did he say something wrong?

{Did you really think that Spidey cares for you? Don't be ridiculous, he never did. The fact that he moved a bit closer doesn't prove that he does.} White commented cruelly.

[He so does! You saw how he teased you! He loves you! Okay, maybe not loves...] Yellow tried his best to cheer him up. He failed. Wade

{Please. You know that Spidey hates our guts.} A painful riposte that had Wade closing his eyes behind his mask in self-loathing.

[Well, if you are so omniscient-] Yellow started.
