Chapter Ten : One-Sided Love? Forcing Yourself To Look Away!

Jeon Jung Kook POV

"Jungkook, why do you look so sick? Didn't you sleep well?," Grandma asked worriedly as she placed her palm on my forehead to check for a fever.

"I'm okay!," I lied, shrugging off her hand. I couldn't even blink an eye after that sudden hug; and neither did the fireworks in my heart come to a stop.

Taehyung placed both his hands on my face and turned me to face him; brown orbs meeting mine.
What a Paradise~

"You have big eye bags!," Taehyung chuckled.

I quickly pushed him away. Stupid guy. Always finding a way to quicken my heart beat.

"Grandma?," Taehyung called.

"Yes?," Grandma responded.

"Seokjin hyung will be coming to pick me up after school for something important, so can I go with him?"

I stared at Taehyung. Why does he wants to hang out with Seokjin?

"Sure!," Grandma said with a smile.

Taehyung smiled back too.

I contorted my face. She simply gave him permission without even asking where he was going. Gosh! I'll just have to follow them!

Kim Tae Hyung POV

"Kookie, am I looking human enough?," I asked nervously as I straightened my tie.

Jungkook groaned. "Again with the human thing...How many times do I have to remind you that you are a human being!," he scolded.

I smiled sheepishly. How much I wished to be a human...

"Let's go in now, we're late enough already!," Jungkook said as he reached out for the door.
I nodded.

The door flung opened. All eyes fell on me as I followed Jungkook into the classroom. I clutched hard onto his cardigan, trying to hide behind him.

"New student?!"

The teacher's loud voice startled me. I let go of Jungkook who walked over to his seat; my gaze never leaving him as he walked away.

"Oh! I've heard about you!," the teacher said with a smile. I smiled back at him nervously.

"Why don't you introduce yourself?"

I shook my head quickly as a no.

"Don't be shy! Come on!," the teacher said with a chuckle and pushed me into the middle. "Go on! Say something!," he said with a nod.

I gulped hard. I turned my gaze at the humans who were staring back at me with curiosity.

"Um...I - I'm Kim Taehyung. Nice to meet you!," I finally managed to speak.

"Hello! Nice to meet you too!," the students yelled out in a shout with smiling faces.

My gaze fell on Jungkook. I smiled at him but he looked away from me, ignoring me. Feeling disappointed, I looked at the person beside him.
Jimin waved at me with a sweet smile. I waved back with the same sweet smile.

"Taehyung, you can go sit on any empty seat you like~," the teacher said.

"I want to sit next to Jungkook!," I said smiling.

The teacher blinked. "But...he already has a person sitting beside him!"

"It's okay, Saem. I'll sit somewhere else!," Jimin spoke up with a smile. He gathered his books and stood up and sat down somewhere else.
