Chapter 25

4 months later....

"MANIK!!! " Nandini screamed. 

"Nandu!? Why are you screaming??" Manik asked, with a stupid goofy smile.

"Manik... Put me down right this instant. Mei chal sakthi hun." Nandini tried to reason out with Manik.

Manik was carrying Nandini down the stairs. And as all of us very well know... our Manju Manik was in no mood to leave his princess. 

"Mujhe pata hei...." Manik said as he put Nandini down at the bottom of the stairs. 

She was about to leave, when Manik pulled her back. Her hands instantly were on his chest and his hands roamed about her back. 

There was something about them which was special.... there was fire between them, which burned so bright to light the dark sky up.

Nandini closed her eyes and she had shivers of pleasure running down her spine.

Manik smirked seeing the effect he had on her.... He moved his hands up her jawline and she held on closer to his vest collar. 

"Nandini....."

"Hmm?" Nandini replied absentmindedly. 

"I am...."

"You are....?" She asked, playing with his collar.

"I am extremely.... unbearably...HUNGRY." Manik said, with an innocent face. 

Nandini immediately left his collar and moved away from his grip... plum faced.

Manik laughed seeing his cute little tomato. 

Nandini huffed in annoyance and stomped her feet leaving to the kitchen.

Manik smiled wholeheartedly and went behind her.

"Kaka... vo pass karna." Nandini asked Ramu Kaka who was helping Nandini with the food. 

Manik was sitting on the counter munching on a carrot. 

"Yeh lo bitiya..." Kaka said as he passed the veggies to Nandini.

Nandini looked at Manik in anger, wrinkled her nose and went back to cooking.

"Kaka...." Manik called and Ramu Kaka came towards him. 

"Boliye Baba." Kaka said.

Manik bent closer and whispered to Kaka, " Kya hei na Kaka.... Madam bahut gussa hei. To mujhe use manane ke liye thoda time chahiye. Aap kuch der ke liye bahar ja sakthe ho? Please?" Manik said and Kaka was once again left flabbergast. 

THE MANIK MALHOTRA was requesting?? And him saying "PLEASE" is something which was.... Revolutionary. 

"Han baba. Mei abhi jata hun." Ramu kaka said and went out scratching his head pondering on what Manik said. 

All this was seen by another pair of eyes who was enjoying the whole scenario.... RAJ MALHOTRA. 

He smiled and said, "Manik badal raha hei... Aur meri bahu Nandini, Tussi great ho."

"Haye Rabba... in dono ko humeha salaamat rakhna......"

"Nandu..." Manik said as he kept his chin on her shoulder. Nandini was arranging the plated for lunch.

Nandini jerked him away. 

"Gussa ho??" Manik asked, drawing lazy circled on her back.

"Ji han." Nandini snapped.
