Two New Kids (Chapter 9)

Ahh no, get away from me! I don't love you! I want Edward!

"AHHH!" Emily screamed, falling off the couch, onto the floor.

"What?" Forrest said waking up, alert.

"Hahaha. Nothing I just fell onto the floor from a bad dream." Emily said, getting up. She was laughing.

"Oh are you okay?" He asked, worriedly.

"Haha yeah. I was just having another one of my wierd Twilight dreams where I'm running in the forest being chased by Jacob because I said I love Edward." She explained.

Forrest looked kinda weirded out. "Umm.. Okay...?" He said.

"Haha yeah. I'm weird. So, what's for breakfast?" Emily said walking into the kitchen.

Forrest got up and rushed to the fridge. He opened the door and somehow in the process of doing that, he hit Emily on the head.

Emily fell to the floor, still laughing. I guess she woke up in a pretty good mood today, considering her happiness after falling on the ground two times in less than 10 minutes.

"Em, are you okay?" Forrest asked, laughing.

"Haha yes. Wait, did you just call me Em?" She asked surprised. She was still kneeling on the kitchen floor and Forrest was looking down at her.

"Yes, can't I call you-"

"Forrest, who are you talking to?" Andre came walking down the stairs.

Forrest looked down at Emily. She put her finger up to her mouth as if she was gonna say, 'Shh'. She crawled across the room. Andre couldn't see her because she was behind the counter, on the floor. Andre was tired, obviously, and was rubbing his eyes.

"BOO!" Emily popped out in front of Andre, scaring him.

"WHAT THE HELL!" Andre yelled, now awake.

Emily and Forrest were both craking up! "Dont ever do that again Emily! Im serious." Andre said but Emily just started laughing more.

"Did you wake up in the middle of the night and drink like 12 cups of coffee or something?" Forrest asked. He wasnt laughing that much anymore but Emily still was.

"Pft.. no!" Emily said.

Forrest just nodded. Andre left the room to go sit on the couch.

"Soooooo.. what are we gonna do today?" Emily asked Forrest, jumping up and down.

"Calmmmm dowwnnn." Forrest said putting his hands on her shoulders to stop her from jumping. Emily stopped jumping and frowned.

"Sorry. Dont be mad at me!" Forrest said.

"No, i get it. You dont like me. You dont want to spend time with me. I'll just leave." Emily said, sadly and headed to the door with her head down.

"Wait! Emily! I didnt mean it that way! I-" Emily turned around and had a huge grin on her face.

"Gotcha!" She said to his face.

"That hurts." He said, also trying to pretend like he is sad.

"Im not buying it." Emily said, opening up her arms for a hug. Forrest laughed and hugged her.

It was later, obviously, and Forrest decided to take Emily to the park so she could get some of her energy out. so tonight she would, hopefully, fall asleep in his arms. So sweet.

Forrest sat on a bench as he watched his crazy girlfriend run around like a maniac. With 5 year olds.

He was just sitting there when someone walked by and tripped over his leg.
