The Fox of Konoha

Betrayal

It's shriek hurt the ears of many. 

It stopped and looked at the carnage  around it with glowing red eyes. It's eyes settled on the eyes of its dearest loved ones on the ground withered over in pain and exhaustion. It went over to them and picked them up like a mother would do its cubs and moved them away from danger. 

------Tobari's POV------

I looked over at the carnage before me. And I saw something that made my blood boil with fury. 

Zabuza and Haku laying on the ground bleeding and exhausted and no one is helping them. 

I walked up to them and put Haku on my back and picked Zabuza up like a mother would do her pup. 

'Maybe that's why zabuza called me a girl.' 

I put them in both of my tails and extended my tails to the end of the bridge were they will be safe.

I then turned around. My loving attitude I had just had was gone and had done a hole 180 to get to my now infuriated state. 

I ran toward the mob of mercenary ninja. Only when my now bloody teeth clamped down on one of the ninja's throat did the fighting commenced once again. But this time it was all of the mercenaries against one angry fox spirit with the Konoha ninja standing and watching the one sided carnage with shock and horror.

-----Third person POV------

The rest of team 7 watched in horror as blood spilled every witch way. The fox showed no mercy toward those poor ninja. 

The fire in its eyes was haunting. 

Before anyone could accumulate any thoughts, and break through there terror. Only Gato was left.

"Please don't kill m-me,!I-i'll pay y-you. S-So plea-AAAHHH!!!!" Gato screamed his last words as the merciless fox clamped down on his throat killing him painfully. 

The fox slowly walked toward them creating tension in the air. During the slow walking towards them the fox's  shadow through the mist changed to a boy, an inch taller than Sasuke. He had blond hair tied in a high ponytail with fox ears coming from his head were his human ears should be. He had a brown Kimono top and a white Obi that held a black piece of cloth to his body so that it covered the bass of his two tails. He had baggy white pants with a tight ending at his ankle. He wore no shoes and was almost covered head to toe in blood that was not his own.

"T-Tobari?" Naruto asked in a surprising low whispering tone.

Tobari looked at them emotionlessly. Kakashi pulled his students behind him and pulled out a kunai and getting in a fighting position. 

"Stay back monster!" Kakashi yelled at the now stopped Tobari, his position stuck in mid-walk. 

Tobari's face turned to one of pure shock and sadness. He looked at the rest of his 'team'. 

Sakura was was scared that she was clinging to Naruto crying. 

Naruto had pure and utter terror on his face. 

Sasuke's face had a mix of shock, fear and hatred on his face. He was also brave enough to his Sakura as well. 

Kakashi. He was the worst out of them all a face that made Tobari's heart burn with sadness.

He had pure and utter hatred in his eyes. 

Tears started to stream down Tobari's face as he stood there in shock. 

"Get away from my team! You are no longer apart of my team monster!" Kakashi yelled at the boy. 

"But your my friends. My team. Why are you doing this?'' Tobari asked through the sobs as shadows covered the boy's eyes. 

Zabuza and Haku had already recovered and were present for the whole event. 

The normally passive and emotionless Haku was furious and had to be held back by Zabuza with all his strength just to keep the boy back from killing them. 

Shadows covered Tobari's face as he said the next words with tears streaming from the shadows. 

"I once heard from a man that. People who break the rules are scum. But those who abandon their friends are worse than scum. You Kakashi, are worse than scum!" Tobari yelled with the shadows still covering his eyes. 

Tobari looked up and looked Kakashi straight in the eyes. 

What kakashi saw next made a shiver run down his spine.

Red eyes stared into Black as Tobari said something that will haunt him. 

"I told the truth. I thought I could trust you and I showed you my real self. I protected you because I thought I had a new familly. But I guess I was wrong you all betrayed me. Never expect me to see you again on good terms" Tobari said and with those words. He changed into his fox form and got zabuza and Haku onto his back. And sprinted away back towards the leaf village.

------Timeskip--------
-----Third hokages POV-------
I was doing my paper work when someone knocked on my door.
"Come in " I beckoned for the person to come in.
A shaky ninja came in followed by Zabuza momochi, Haku Yuki and a very large two tailed fox.
I didn't have to ask the fox anything because just by looking at it I could tell it was tobari.
But what I want to ask is to why he looks so......... heartbroken....

"Leave us" I said with a wave of my hand.
"B-But Hokage-Sama" the ANBU started.
"Enough! I said leave us" and with that they all left.
"Now. Tobari what are  you doing here and where is your team" as I asked that Tobari's eyes filled with a variety of emotions none of witch were positive.

"My shit 'team' hated me and called me a monster for showing my true self. And now jiji they told me I could not be on their team only because of what I am." My eyes widened at Tobari's statement. I could feel anger well up inside of me. But I tried to calm down for Tobari's sake.

"Ok. For now tobari if you want can be my personal body guard and will escort my grandson to and forth from the academy. Now for the present problem. Why is zabuza momochi and  Haku Yuki doing in my office?"

"I'm sorry for the short notice but they are very good friends of mine and wish to join konoha. So please let them." I pleaded still in fox form.

"Very well. Before you become leaf ninja you will have to be interrogated ans but under ANBU watch for a week. Tobari you will take your post by my side in till further notice. Dismissed." I said. Dismissing them all. The large fox known as Tobari. Was still in his two tailed fox form. He went  forward and curled up into a ball at the front of my desk.

I turned back to my paperwork and sighed.

'This is going to be a long week'
