Chapter 9

Nick's POV

We finally arrived at our destination, just before sunset judy pulled i the garage behind me and parked the car on the first floor next to my bike.

"oh boy am I stiff" i said stretching as i got off the bike. walking over to the car i popped the trunk, and placed my gear in it before shutting the hatch.

"Nick?" judy asked looking over at me "where are we?"she asked. I motioned for them to follow me wth a wave of my paw. We got into an elevator and went to the basement as we reached the basement i turned left and pulled the handle of a broomstick. The shelf next to it slid open. I walked up to it and opened the doors behind it.

"Welcome to bureau 13, this is a top secret facility dedicated to preserving the mammal race." I said as i made my grand entrance "if you would follow me." i said leading the way down a hallway to the head office at the far end of the large bunker.

As I walked people stood off to the sides and saluted as i passed others just whispered as i walked by. I walked into the office and flopped onto the couch in the corner motioning for Judy and Kyle to take a seat next to me. The Wolf sitting in the chair behind the desk looked up from his papers that he was doing.

"Mr. wilde, to what do I owe the pleasure of having you here today?" he asked looking over the three of us especially Judy.

"I'm in trouble, we need to leave without a trace of were we went." I told him standing up and pacing "I want to use Project X-7." I said stopping and looking at him.

"But Mr.Wilde we haven't used the X-7 since your brother" he said as if he was telling the algorithm to life.

"I'm quite aware." i said promptly

"Very well Mr.wilde i shall arrange a transport." the wolf said as he looked back down at his work.

"I'd expect nothing less Judy go start the car i'll be there in a bit to help." i told her as she stood up

"you're not coming with us?" she asked looking at me with concern in her violet eyes."

"Not yet I have some business to take care of." I told before giving her quick peck on the lips before she walked out the door.

I turned around and walked up to the wolf's desk. Slamming my hands down i grabbed his tie and yanked him over the desk "If you ever leer at my wife like that again i will disembowel you with a rusty spoon. Do I make myself clear." i asked him my eyes flashing over with red real quick then turning green again.

"y-y-yes sir." he whimpered out. I slammed his head on the desk before letting go.

"good." I said wiping myself off as I exited the room

I walked out towards the car and got on my bike gesturing for judy to follow me, I pulled out of the parking spot and drove up to a wall honking my horn 3 times the wall opened I drove in with judy following suite. we stopped i a room as i t slowly began to descend. looking out we saw a weird pool looking portal on a wall with the title above it X-7. once the elevator stopped i drove out and parked in front of the portal. getting off the bike i walked over to the scientist nearby who saluted as i walked up too them

"Good afternoon sir" one said to me as i walked up.

"Good evening gentleman, how much longer until we are ready?" I asked them

" We're ready now sir, if you are." he replied back checking a computer screen nearby.

"very well then shall we begin." i said to them turning around and walking back over to Judy.

"Are you to ready." I asked looking between Judy and Kyle.

"As ready as we can be." Judy said to me

'well i going through first then you follow through after me." i told the two of them. as i got back on the bike and started it up. driving up to the portal I stopped in front of it.

'onwards to a new life.' I thought as i drove into the portal.
